Why Does Lee Evans Hate Me?

For some reason I think Lee Evans want me to lose at fantasy football, I know he's good, but his 12 catches for 113 yards and no TDs just ain't cutting it. On the year he has gained me 15 fantasy points, hardly worthy of a 4th round pick.
Now, I'm not saying that I intend to dump the guy or sell him off to another team, he is still one of the best fantasy receivers in the league but enough is enough already.
And its not just Evans, it's my entire team. And this isn't a mediocre, maybe has a shot at maybe making the playoffs team that we are talking about, this team is it, the be all end all in this particular league.
My Starting Lineup:
QB- Kitna or Roethlisberger depending upon matchup
WR- Chad Johnson
WR- Andre Johnson
WR- Lee Evans
RB- Ladanian Tomlinson
RB- Rudi Johnson
TE- Kellen Winslow
W/R- Javon Walker
Now, that's one hell of a lineup, right? Not so much. After this weekend I am boasting the glorious record of 1-4. I am on a 4 game losing streak, I have lost to a team who had the nerve of drafting Chicago's D in the first round (it's his first year playing, we tried to talk him out of it but it was no use, it's only a 10 team league so this mistake wasn't as fatal as it should have been), and I blame it all on Lee Evans.
Twice now, my winning has come down to Lee Evans outscoring just one player from my opponents roster, that's it, game in the bag. But with Evans having glorious weeks of putting up 2 and 3 points, I continue to lose.
I don't even want to talk about LT. This was a guy who was single-handidly outscoring teams last season, this year he's rushed for over 100 yards, what, once?
The injuries, the lack of production, and now the bye weeks are here...I just can't take it. So, if on the off chance that Lee Evans is surfing the web and happens to stumble across this, please catch the ball, please score a touchdown, if not for you and the Bills then do it for me and the Redcoats.

 |  Danny, I feel your pain. As you probably know, I traded Lee last week for Cotchery, Glenn, and a 2008 draft pick, and I'm quite pleased with the transaction. Fantasy is very strange this year. So many injuries already, so many QB changes, and a lot of the big guns not performing... for me the saints and chargers especially, because i seem to have drafted most of them. ah well. at least your bucs are playing well  |

| | Take a dose of some hope. Read my Bills passing game blog. AJ getting injuried hit your squad hard but you know if he plays he does perform. In one keeper league, keepers Rudi Johnson and Willie Parker were my top keepers for a couple of years. Rudi disappeared and while Parker put up a good year, this leagues scoring is heavily TD weighted so Parker was a dud in this scoring format as he was TD lite last year. Now with Mendy around, potential RBBC and Goal Line steals are a concern. The idea of keeping Rudi and Parker makes me queasy! But, this is a great squad who just had one of those fantasy years we all endure. |
