Time To Go Visit Our Friends, The New York Football Giants

That's right. Week 10 is here and it is time to go pay Big Blue a visit. Nothing like a friendly get together among friendly football players for a fun little game. Yep, lots of love between these teams......
We are entering the middle of November, a time in which the games become increasingly important. Following a relatively easy NFC East win on the road against the completely lost Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas stays on the road for yet another NFC East showdown, this time against the New York Giants who would love to leave this game with a share of the NFC East lead.
Dallas is a 1.5 point road favorite, but you would never know that by listening to the media this week. Most are predicting the Giants to win and position themselves as the team to beat in the NFC. Why this prediction by our friendly media? Well, besides the obvious East Coast Bias, here are the reasons they give:
The Dallas defense should be even better now. For the first time all season, the starting cornerbacks are on the field together and relatively healthy. Bradie James is back to full speed. Jay Ratliff, who has filled in well since losing Ferguson at nose tackle, now gets some help at the position from Tank Johnson. Tank won't play much in this game (10-12 plays this week), but that will be a much needed break for Ratliff.
( If you know me, you know I hate the fact that Tank is on this team, but as I said when we got T.O., I will hope for the best. )
Game Prediction: A field goal separates this game. 30-27 Cowboys

- The Giants defensive line will pressure Romo and force him out of the pocket.
Why this won't be effective - If the Giants are able to get past the Cowboys offensive line and force Romo to move out of the pocket, they are simply allowing him to feed off of his strength. Romo becomes more dangerous to opposing defenses when forced out of the pocket. - The Giants big running back, Brandon Jacobs, is healthy for this matchup.
Newsflash - Jacobs was healthy in the previous meeting between these two teams. Who do you think sent him to the bench for a month?
