Odom ready for a shot at his old team.

Good read here. Odom is ready to prove to the Bengals and his old team that he is ready for this opportunity. He better be, because this defensive front needs him. They need him to be a difference maker. They need him to get after the passer. Sounds like he is jacked up about this game, I hope it shows on the field Sunday.

Antwan Odom came to Cincinnati because he wanted to play on third downs, something he wasn't getting a chance to do with the Tennessee Titans. In his first game as a Bengal, Odom played just on third downs, the result of a foot injury suffered on the first day of training camp.
Odom, the Bengals' big defensive free agent acquisition, had as many tackles in the team's 17-10 loss to the Ravens as quarterback Carson Palmer did -- one. That’s not what he envisioned when he signed with the Bengals, and it's certainly not what the Bengals envisioned when they gave him a five-year deal with $29.5 million.
This Sunday, he'll have a chance to prove to not only the Bengals, but also his former team, that he deserves a chance to play all three downs and can made a difference.
"I'm ready to play against my former team and show them what they missed out on," said Odom, who had a career-high eight sacks and a team-best 29 quarterback pressures for the Titans in 2007. "It's a lot of motivation. You want to go out and show them you could be a third-down guy, an every down guy."
