Steelers @ Bengals - Week 7 Preview

Well another week with Fitzpatrick at QB, this time against the creative blitz schemes of the Pittsburgh Steelers.....boy am I excited......
The plus side for the Bengals is their defense is showing progress and has been surprisingly good against the pass this year. The Steelers Oline leaves a little to be desired on the pass protection front as well, if the Bengals can manage to find a pass rush they could force Roth into a couple mistakes and keep it somewhat close. With Parker still out, the Steelers running game will once again fall on Moore who should have a nice game. Seems like whoever runs the ball for the Steelers against the Bengals has a good game, should be no different today. They will grind out a lead late with their running game and I don't look for the Bengals to have a response. Don't expect great passing numbers here from Pitt though, and if you have another option than Roeth you may want to look at him if the match-up is more favorable.
OK, now for the offensive side of the ball.....and man is it offensive! This is going to be a blood bath! Fitzpatrick is going to get killed behind that line against this defense. No other way to put it! The running game won't fair any better, but I do look for Cedric Benson to get the bulk of the carries.....but it won't matter, you'll want to stay away from the Cincinnati offense today.
In the end, this won't be pretty and will look like a back alley mugging. Bengals continue their run at 0-16 as they fall to 0-7.
