Waiver Wire Moves – Playoff Edition
We are now in the fantasy playoffs for most. If your league allows you to make WW moves during the playoffs here are the best bets on guys who may be able to make a difference.
Quarterbacks:
Tarvaris Jackson - Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota has been hot lately and theiroffense is finally getting some balance to it. Jackson has been very efficient lately and with Adrian Peterson to take the pressure off Jackson should have some opportunities down the stretch to make plays.
Kyle Boller - Baltimore Ravens
Boller is putting up decent numbers lately and could be a decent safety net if your starter goes down. I woudl only look to Boller if you are desperate at QB.
Running Backs
Leon Washington - New York Jets
Washington is making some noise in limited action. With the Jets with nothing to loose, look for them to get longer loloks at Washington and a full blown RBBC to develop between Jones and Washington down the stretch. This makes Washington an intriguing pick-up. Probally won’t get enough looks to start in most leagues, but if nothing else block him from others in case Jones goes down.
Adrian Peterson - Chicago Bears
Was picked up in most leagues a week ago, but if he’s still there grab him. He showed he is capable of big games if given the opportunity. With Benson out, the opportunity is now.
Fred Jackson - Buffalo Bills
With Lynch’s ststus still in the air, Jackson makes an intriguing fill in if he can’t go.
Wide Receivers
Sidney Rice - Minnesota Vikings
With Jackson starting to play well, Rice is starting to put up good numbers. He could be a nice player to have the last 3 weeks.
Tight Ends
Marcedes Lewis - Jacksonville Jaguars
Lewis is starting to find his rhythem in this offense. Lweis is worthy of a spot, if not a start, the rest of the year.

Leon Washington also has more value if your league accounts for return yards; I have him in one particular league that does and because of it, overall, he is the 6th highest scoring runningback.Posted 12-05-2007 at 04:43 AM by dannywest

yeah, safe to say in those leagues Washington is long gone, he's been money in return yardage leagues all year!Posted 12-05-2007 at 07:07 PM by Miller

Boller and Rosenfels are both good situational plays at qb. At this point in the season the hope is just to have a guy who can back up whomever is your starter. Both have good matchups this weekend.
With runningbacks, what did you think of Darius Walker this weekend?Posted 12-11-2007 at 04:26 PM by The Ram
