Waiver Wire Moves – Week 11
This does not appear to be the best waiver wire week in the world. However, there are still a couple players showing up that may be worth a shot. Here are my best bets for this week.
Quarterbacks:
Jason Campbell - Washington Redskins
Campbell has been very inconsistent this year, but is coming off one of his best weeks of the season. Campbell maybe a nice candidate to put together a late season run.
Rex Grossman - Chicago Bears
The Greise injury maybe just whatthe up and down Grossman needed torestart his career.Grossman has proven the ability to put up decent numbers in spurts and now that he is fighting for his livelihood, he may just surprise people if given another shot.
Brodie Croyle - Kansas City Chiefs
Brodie may finally be about to get his shot. I don’t expect big numbers by any stretch, but in larger leagues Croyle is worth adding to your roster at this point.
Running Backs
Chester Taylor - Minnesota Vikings
With Adrian Peterson’s knee injury, Taylor looks to get a full workload again for at least a week. While he will not be available in most leagues, you may find him sitting out there in smaller leagues, and he will be a solid start in Peterson’s absence.
Wide Receivers
Nate Washington - Pittsburgh SteelersWashington is starting to get more action in Pittsburgh’s more wide open offense. If your looking for some depth, Washington is worth a look.
Mark Clayton - Baltimore Ravens
There was a lot of hype surrounding Clayton entering the season. However, much like the Ravens offense, Clayton has disappeared for most of the season. Clayton eclipsed the q0 yard mark this past weekend and could be looking to repeat his solid second half from a year ago.
Tight Ends
Randy McMicheal - St. Louis Rams
The Rams offense looked to wake up briefly from it’s season long slump this past weekend. If they can stay awake, McMichael may turn out to be a nice safety net to have at TE. He has always been a streaky TE, and may be someone to get if he’s about to get hot.
Leonard Pope - Arizona Cardinals
Pope has been a guy I have liked since his days at Georgia, but has done little to prove me right. This past weekend Pope came up with his best week as a pro and get a mention due to this. Going into a game against the Bengals who traditionally struggle against pass catching TE’s, Pope may be able to string together back to back solid performances.
Defensive Line
Mike Rucker - DE - Carolina Panthers
Rucker has been solid of late and could add some help if your thin at DL.
Linebackers
Na’il Diggs - Carolina Panthers
Another Panther who has put up some decent numbers the last few weeks. If your looking to add some help at LB, Diggs should be on your short list.
Defensive Backs
Hamza Abdullah - S - Denver Broncos
Abdullah is now healthy and putting up good numbers. I expect him to continue the production he has shown over the last two weeks.
Leon Hall - CB - Cincinnati Bengals
Hall has shown the knack for being in the right place at the right time lately and this has allowed him to come up with some big plays. He is also solid against the run which helps his tackling numbers.

Campbell is a solid pickup for sure. Still not sold on Grossman. And I like Taylor to audition for his next job this coming weekend. He's making too much to be a back-up and will likely be moving again this off-season.Posted 11-14-2007 at 10:55 AM by The Ram

I actually ran into some QB trouble in a couple of leagues a few weeks back and was able to grab Campbell in both and thus far I've been happy with the numbers he's putting up.Posted 11-15-2007 at 04:36 AM by dannywest

Another nice crop of pickups. Like McMicheall if the Rams O continues to perform. Talyor is a great pickup , he should put up solid numbers, and as Ram pointed out he will be playing for his next contract/job. Don't forget Ricky Williams as he was just re-instated after this was posted.Posted 11-15-2007 at 07:23 AM by Coachnorm
