Welcome to Sports Outlaw's Fantasy Football stock exchange known as Ballin' or Fallin'.

Simple concept: If a player is Ballin' his stock is on the rise. If a player is Fallin', he's not living up to the hype.

We'll take a weekly look at the players that matter in the realm of fantasy football.

Ballin'

Quarterbacks

Brady Quinn – Honestly I think he won't do as well this week as he did last week but I had to bring a few things up about Quinn's impact on the game. First, he provided a spark whether real or imaginary for the Browns. He was mechanical but efficient in his reads which leads me to believe he will have a drop in production this week but overall still a solid dynasty quarterback. Second, he provides the casual female fan another reason to watch the NFL. My wife may be a Bronco fan but she is now a Brady Quinn fan. Just my luck. Psst, I told you to start him last week. If you did you were straight. Read on my friend. Situational starter but a must own in dynasty leagues.

Jay Cutler – Here is another guy who I don't think will do as well as they did in week 10 but I thought I should bring you some of my Rocky Mountain Media bias. With the injuries at runningback the fantasy football world is asking itself one question: who is the starting Bronco runningback? That question was a good one a few years ago but to be honest in the last three years the vaunted running game of Denver is a shell of it's former self. That said the Broncos must score points because their defense sucks. The answer to the question isn't a runningback but a slew of wide receivers and tight ends. The Bronco offense will remind you of college offenses like Hawaii and Texas Tech. They will spread the ball with 4 wide game in and game out resulting in monster numbers from Cutler. Throw or die. Cutler will be by default a QB1.

Any quarterback facing the Bears – Kerry Collins. Kerry Freaking Collins lit up the Bears. The Bears rolled the dice to stop the prolific run attack of the Titans and they were burned by Kerry Collins. Nuff' said. My 4 year old is a situational starter.

Peyton Manning – So he's starting to get his stuff together. This is a guy you need to try to snag soon. He may be too late for the Colts he's rounding out just in time for your fantasy football team. Manning is a must own for any team looking at a playoff run.

Keep your eye on:

Tyler Thigpen – Pigpen has shown some promise lately. Playing the Chargers and being smart enough to throw to the tight end makes him someone to watch for the playoffs if all of your starters break their legs. Possible bye week fill in.

Runningbacks

Thomas Jones – Here is a guy that is making some major league strides in production. He plays for the minor league team in New York and didn't have much of a year last year but if you're looking at a playoff run Jones might be a good trade for a RB2.

DeAngelo Williams – Draft a #1 rookie runningback? Suuuure. Williams has been impossible to take off the field making Coach Fox take a hard long look at how he spent his first draft pick. Williams has done nothing but tear it up despite his quarterback's wild play. This is another guy who you could pick up cheaply for a run at the title. Solid RB2.

Matt Forte –Forte didn't rack up huge rushing yardage but his ability to catch the ball has gone well under the radar. Championship hopefuls will pick up Forte due to his ability to score through the ground and the air. Weak RB1 to very strong RB2.

Mewelde Moore – Fast Willie Parker can't stay healthy and Moore is producing at a very high level. He is a dual threat and therefore is a weekly start. Strong RB2 to weak RB1.

Keep your eye on:

Peyton Hillis – Another weekly stalwart with Ballin' or Fallin' Hillis is the last man standing in the Broncos backfield. He won't be much on passing downs due to his inability to pass block but he has the ability to run the ball and has demonstrated the ability to catch and make moves in the open field. He's a starter so he deserves a flex play to weak RB2 depending on the start.

Wide Receivers

Anquan Boldin – This is a man. He broke his face and is still the guy that is tagged to run the ball in the now fashionable wildcat offense. He's leading the league in touchdowns and is still one of the men in the desert who are taking the NFL by storm through the air. This is an offense that is akin to what Warner enjoyed back on the Greatest Show on Turf. All three are starters but Boldin is a must start weekly.

Brandon Stokely – As I mentioned earlier the Broncos offense will soon be basketball on turf. There is no running game and the quarterback has a gun so the logical conclusion is more of what happened in Cleveland. Stokely is the best possession receiver next to Eddie Royal and although he lacks the ability to go all the way he will rack up the receptions. Stokely can be thought of as a flex play to solid WR2 in PPR leagues until someone in the Bronco backfield channels their inner Sweetness.

Steve Breaston– Once again I'm a breast man. This offense is making room for a guy who at the beginning of the season was at best a special team player. Breaston is the third option but unless a defense decides to allow Fitzgerald or Boldin to run wild Breaston will be a solid WR3 start.

Marques Colston– Patience is a virtue not often possessed by fantasy football addicts. If you were able to hold out you have yourself a guy who could turn the corner for your team. He has an MVP candidate throwing the ball all over the field and with Bush coming back will be an even more effective target. WR1 and you should start him weekly.

Tight End

Tony Sheffler– He was gimpy but effective. With another week and with the impending wide open offense Sheffler's numbers will only improve. TE1 for most matchups.

Bo Scaife – When the opposing defenses stop the run Kerry Collins will be throwing short and Scaife will be the main target. He could be counted on to be a TE2 in most leagues.

Defenses

Arizona – If you are looking for a matchup play the Cardinals could be a good one. They are a second tier defense but Monday night shows you they can step up in good matchups.

New York Jets – Even though they won't be playing the Rams every week they are consistently putting up numbers and are stingy as all get out against the run. Aside from a team like Tampa the Jets should be in your starting lineup.

Fallin'

Quarterbacks

Shaun Hill – This should be an interesting week in the Bay Area. Hill stunk for most of Monday night's game and may have seen his last game although if Bulger is still starting next week then it is only fair if Hill starts too. Either way he shouldn't be in your lineup.

Marc Bulger – Ow boy. The only reason Bulger is starting is that Trent Green is the next in line to play. His production fell no doubt due to Stephen Jackson not being in the lineup. This once consensus QB1 should no longer be in your lineup.

Daunte Culpepper – Honestly this isn't his fault. He was on the block last week and then was thrown into the starting lineup. That is hard enough. Now add he's thrown into the LIONS starting lineup and what you have is what you saw on Sunday. "Hey Megatron go long!" will only work a few times as a staple play. You may see a good game out of Culpepper this season but he's not a guy you should gamble on this year. Bench.

Jake Delhomme – Jake is a rollercoaster. He's been on the downward slide most games lately. If he couldn't put together a good game against the Raiders then he really shouldn't be in your lineup at this point in the season.

Runningbacks

Ronnie Brown– He's had one good game this season and shockingly is still sharing the backfield with Ricky the Weed. So far it would be tough to make a case for this guy who seems to emerge and then fold like a lily. Situational starter at best.

Joseph Addai – Yet another down game for Addai. His befuddling performances this season have owners shaking their heads. I don't think there will be better time to acquire this guy at the lowest possible value. He's been too good too recently to be this bad. Flex play until he can put together a decent string of games.

Ray Rice– There was no reason Rice couldn't step up against the Texans. Instead Willis McGahee took hold of the starting job and took Houston to task. Rice put together three good games before disappearing this weekend so he may still be an option as a Flex.

Wide Receivers

Calvin Johnson– Megatron had 92 yards through the circus going on at quarterback. Don't expect this to continue and owners should temper expectations for this elite talent who is downgraded to WR2 to weak WR1 due to lack of talent at quarterback.

Randy Moss– Randy didn't have his usual game against the Bills. The Pats still won and he made a few good grabs however Randy should be tearing teams up. Moss can be a force but shouldn't be depended on to carry your wr corps. WR2.

Brandon Marshall– He's continuing to be more dumb ass and less phenom. I think it's great you wanted to make a statement when you scored. But you need to pay Stokely half of the fine that would have been leveled against you and clean his locker for saving the game for the team. Time to shut your mouth and let your actions on the field talk for you.. Elite WR playing down to WR2.
