I feel his fathers influence may end up sending him to Penn St. If he doesn't head to PS I could see him heading to Michigan where they would pretty much hand the reigns of the offense to him wouldn't they?

i dont see how he doesnt ultimately end up at michigan. also, i think its pretty ludicrous that there are odds on where a high school kid will go.

There aren't odds on where he'll go, but that doesn't mean I can't come up with some

I know, I have issues, Nic is already looking into a 12 step program for me.

here's a free tip.........

BET THE FARM ON OHIO STATE........

at this point, I really feel he's going to end up a Buckeye........just too many signs pointing to it......pains me to say, cause i think the kid's going to have an incredible collegiate career wherever he goes, but I think he'll give Penn State it's due to please his dad, will go to Oregon to take a look at what the other side of the country looks like, but won't go either place.........

I really feel that if he were going to go to Michigan, we'd have gotten him on signing day.......I think the fact that he can step in and be the man instantly helps, but I don't think it's the selling point for this kid........

now, i'd love to be pleasantly surprised, but if you're giving me straight 1:1 odds, i'm taking OSU in a walk.........

i really dont care where he goes and he is making a spectacle out of signing day. i sure hope he is as good as all this hype cause if he's not the crowd will eat him up. i am guessing penn state since he is holding things off.

This is interesting b/c I feel the same about OSU. I think if he was going to be a Buckeye he would have made the decision on signing day. The more time passes, the more I feel he will go to Michigan, though I'm hoping my gut is wrong.

I don't think PSU has a shot in this , despite being the local fav. Oregon will make him think long and hard, but too far, he wants his family to be at all the games. Kinda hard when they are 2500 miles away.

In the end, it's obvious this kid want to be the center of attention and due to this starting from day one will be important to him. The Buckeyes can't give him that, Michigan can.

true, but I feel "daddy" will have more than his fair say in this, which is why PSU.........

I'm going with those "oh so reliable" opinion pieces, but got a nice piece on rivals that said TP "had made his mind up as to where he was going the day before his presser, then had a talk with his father where they disagreed on where he should go." As a result, he delayed his announcement, and is going to visit Penn St and Oregon. Oregon, rule them out right off the bat. I don't WANT him to take the visit simply because Phil Knight getting his hands on this kid already would be terrible LOL. Penn State will be the visit to sate his father's wishes of staying close to home, but seriously, there's no way he signs on for 4 years at PSU. JoePa still coaches there.

So, we're left with Michigan and OSU again. All his friends, (Miller, you'll love this) The Brew Crew, are there.........he doesn't need the pressure of starting right away, and will benefit from an offense that's tailored to him when he takes the reigns (Tress is VERY good at that, as we've seen)......Michigan has Clemons (his cousin), the opportunity to start right away, and an offense he's very familiar with........

just based of everything I've taken in this week about it.....I really feel that Michigan's outta the picture on this kid.......pains me to say it, but that's what I'm seeing.......

eh, i look at it this way......sure, the kid's projected to be special (and probably will be)......but there's a couple of top flight dual threat QB's in every class, and i'm sure Rodriguez will have his fair shot at em for as long as he's at Michigan......

both Ohio State and Michigan had their usual solid classes.........I like Ohio State's a little more (even if Michigan does steal Pryor) due to the fact that they addressed some key need areas for them in the next couple of years.........they're going to be deep and dangerous as always......Michigan got some solid guys, Sam McGuffie's a YouTube freak and might end up the best out of this class, but as always, we'll judge these classes 2-3 years from now.........not today LOL

I don't think he's famous at all.....I could be wrong though. He's being hyped as the next Vince Young. 6-5, runs like a deer, cannon for an arm is what they say...

i feel what made vince so good is he had heart and soul in college. he seems to be losing his heart for the game or it's just that he is playing at tennessee.

Some would say Madden Curse, some would say sophomore slump. I say it's only his second year and he was playing with a bad wheel. I'll look to see what he does next year.
