i hate portugal. sorry danny, but i do. i remember so many 06 cup games where they were always falling and whining at the refs. its such a good, talented team. great defense especially. i just wish they'd shut up and play. they the the spurs of the soccer world for me. great team, im not sure if they have enough offense. they'll make it to the quarters, but i'll be rooting against them every day.

my pick here is czech, just with their experience overall. i think portgual will draw against czech and one of its other games as well, but both will end up advancing.

No worries, I'm an England fan so I have a bit of disdain for Portugal actually, however, they still remain a very entertaining team to watch, and, if they can take their ego out of the equation, I don't particularly see too many teams that can rival their talent. These boys can dance.
