Donate | Hockey Challenge We will be doing another hockey challenge this year but we are doing confidence pick this year.
So how does that work? Well you must assign numbers (1-8) to each of your winners. These numbers represent the amount of points you would like to win with each of these teams. If you think a series will be a blow out you will want to assign a bigger number to that pick because you are more likely to win. If you are unsure about one of your picks you want to assign a lower number to that pick. Remember you can assign any value to any team (1-8) but must can only use each number once. And this is for each series.
Here are the match ups.
• No. 1 Montreal vs. No. 8 Boston
• No. 2 Pittsburgh vs. No. 7 Ottawa
• No. 3 Washington vs. No. 6 Philadelphia
• No. 4 New Jersey vs. No. 5 New York Rangers
• No. 1 Detroit vs. No. 8 Nashville
• No. 2 San Jose vs. No. 7 Calgary
• No. 3 Minnesota vs. No. 6 Colorado
• No. 4 Anaheim vs. No. 5 Dallas
Pick a winner for each series and your confidence on each winner of the series 1-8
Let me know if you have any questions and the cut off for getting your picks in is end of day Thursday.
Good luck! |

Donate | Just a quick note here. Do come back and make more picks for the second round of the hockey playoffs. You will get to pick from all 4 of the series in that round, despite your performance in the first round. That gives you the ability to score as many points in the second round as anybody else. This is true right up to the championship series.
I also have some reviews of all the playoff matchups By ESPNs Scott Burnside right in the hockey forum.
