Donate | I dont like the crowded backfield or the injuries.
Everyone is going to agree with me or 4 or 5 backs and then make great cases for other backs.
Perhaps closer before the season some of you guys and I can come up with a "top 20" at each position? |

I believe Moreno should be the second best RB behind Wells. They will both put up great numbers, but wells will have a better year because the Buckeyes will lean on him a little more than UGA will with Moreno. I also like PJ Hill for the badgers putting up good numbers because Wisconsin loves to run the football. And also Arian Foster would be in my top 10 with Ainge gone I look for Fullmer to hand the ball off and to throw screen passes a lot to Foster. |

On the flip side, defenses appear to be relatively strong for the upcoming season.
Obviously this has much to do about the increasing number of underclassman that make that Sunday jump. |

Donate | Wonderful job on this thread Sgt.
I would like to lay my 2 cents in however. I love the rankings you have. I have to say though, I think that Knowshon Moreno should be the number 2 back. Part of me wants to even say number 1 but Wells is scary good, in a not so great conference. Moreno will completely take over next year in the SEC. That's right, the SE-freaking-C. There is no doubt or debate that he is the strongest conference in the country, and I think because of that and the success I believe he will have, he is the best back. I understand as well Sgt. that you are going by fantasy points and not by skill. As far as points go, Wells should be the first pick, but talent? Moreno takes the cake IMO. He will be splitting carries with King but that wont stop him from getting close to 20 touches every week. For Moreno, that's all he needs. This kid is a beast and should be ranked as one.
Also, I have a sleeper pick: Joe McKnight. I know he hasn't really been tested a whole lot and I know USC splits carries with all of their bench it seems, but I think he will have a lot of TDs next year. Last season, with less than 100 touches he broke 500 yards and had 3 TDs. Look out for him. If he can keep his grades up enough to stay on the field, he will be a threat. |
