Hurricanes may be making a mistake

Quote:
With Miam wanting only two running backs in the '09 class ( Bryce Brown and Mike James have orally committed), Miami Killian elite running back Lamar Miller said UM no longer returns his calls. UM had concerns about Miller's academics and past shoulder injury.

Miller was recently clocked at 4.29 in the 40 at 5-11 203lbs.

Quote:
Lamar Miller is arguably the state's best running back prospect for the '09 class. He carried the ball 165 times for 1,122 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior. He also had four catches for 65 yards. He has a tremendous combination of size and speed; Miller says he can bench 265 pounds and squat 405. He says once at practice he ran a 4.27 forty.
What the fuck is wrong with Miami?

Wow. I can't believe they just arent returning his calls. You would think they would atleast tell the kid to look elsewhere. I hope this kid goes somewhere else in the ACC and just destroys Miami everytime they play.

Other teams that look to be a consideration for Miller according to Scouts.com:
Florida
LSU
Rutgers
West Virginia

The spread option offense will get him into the pros if he goes to WVU. At LSU or Florida he might disappear into the fold.

I dont see him going to Rutgers.
