Florida TE's Career Over

Cornelius Ingram, starting redshirt senior TE for the Florida Gators, has been diagnosed with a torn ACL, effectively ending his career.

Ingram, a multi-year guy for the Gators at TE and in the slot, turned down the NFL and returned to school this spring. He could apply for a rare 6th year of eligibility, but it does look like his football days are probably over.

Impact: This is a big time hit for owners in both dynasty and redraft leagues. Entering his redshirt senior year, you should have had other guys to cover on your roster.

A name to keep in mind now will be Ingrams backup, Aaron Hernandez So., 6-3, 250. Hernandez caught 9 passes for 151 yards and 2TDs last year and now moves in as Florida's #1 TE.

If he aint already gone, it'll be interesting to see where he goes in the CFA draft and how fast someone tries to snatch him up off waivers in the SOCFFL

As a Gators Fan Chris Rainey will now get most of those catches. He was already going to cut into them anyway.

I feel bad for Ingram and I pray he can come back from this injury and get a shot in the NFL.

this guy will be gone within 5 picks in CFA.

The coach has said it since spring ball, so go laugh at the coach who makes the decisions. I told you this during the SO CFFL draft. Rainey has been taking within the top 5 rounds of every expert draft I have seen. Going in the 8th round is just ridiculous.
