| Who Me? Admin | Well USC is no heading to the Rose Bowl. The biggest question is now what will happen between Michigan and Flordia? Can Flordia hang on and win the SEC giving them hope? Will the pro rematch people win out over the anti-rematch and anti Big Ten folks? It will be a very interesting debate that will rage on long after the decision is made by the BCS if Flordia hangs on. |

| who me? Admin | This has to be an Ohio State/Michigan rematch. Florida won a very sloppy game against Arkansas, with McFadden playing at half speed most of the game with an injured ankle. The best teams in the nation are Ohio State, Michigan, and LSU this year, in my opinion. Would love to see Michigan against LSU two weeks from now, with the winner advancing to play Ohio State. My money would be on LSU in both games. |

| Who Me? Admin | Controvery!!! I love it! 2 VERY deserving teams!! 1 spot!! Can we get a god damn playoff now????? With that said, this is what we have: Michigan - a team that can easily be considered the 2nd best team in the country, but didn't win their confrence title. Should you need to win the confrence title to play for the national title?? Tomorrow will tell us how the majority feels. Flordia - The champions of the best confrence in the nation this year. Not always pretty, but always effective. Nonconfrence hurts, but overall strength of schedule was #1 this year. To have to pick between these two is a joke! No way this should be determined without a damn game on the football field, but since it is, who knows what will happen. Mike, while I believe that LSU maybe one of the better teams in the nation ,and a scary playoff draw, it's silly to talk about them in this format, they lost twice, once to Flordia, no case, end of story. Now Michigan and Flordia, I'd love to see them play for the right to go to the game. Not going to happen, but it should. With all that said let's see what they have done: Code: Michigan Flordia

@ Ohio State (12-0) 41 to 38 @ Auburn (10-2) 27 to 17
Wins
Home vs Wisconsin (11-1) 27 to 13 Home vs LSU (10-2) 23 to 10

| Richest Vman Alive Forum Leader | florida should be in the game. michigan will be. which is disappointing, but ohio state will dominate either of the two. usc wouldve made it a game, and so would lsu. now i will watch but without anticipation, only obligation as a college football fan. im excited for the rose bowl now, so i can hopefully watch the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the country play a memorable game in usc vs lsu. that and i suppose the sugar bowl are the only bcs games i will look forward to at all now. |

| Who Me? Admin | By looking at the schedules side by side, in order of quality opponents, I find it hard to argue the quality of Michigans wins over Flordia. They do have a better loss, but both losses were in tough environments, vs good teams (in Michigans case a great team), in very close games. Go down the line, Flordia gets the nod in quality of opponent in at least the top 5. Bottom line, their road to get to where they are was simply a harder road. Week in and week out, they survived the SEC with one loss. Michigan is no slouch, but they just were not tested as often. Whoever gets in deserves it. And who ever gets in will get beat in Glendale IMO. Ohio State has proven on the field to be better team then Michigan, they have not proven on the field to be a better team thren Flordia. Flordia, IMO, deserves at least the shot, and since there is no other way (without a playoff) then to put them in the national title game, they would get the nod from me ever so slightly, but I think it will be Michigan. The first one was classic, the next one should be great as well. Is it January 8th yet??? |

| who me? Admin | Miller - It may be silly to mention LSU, but they are one of the top 3 teams in the nation. I don't make my decisions on current formats, I make them on who I feel are the best teams. DaBomb - You are clearly just going to take any angle that is available to keep Michigan out of the National Championship game. Then again, you pimped Rutgers and and ridiculed any thought that they didn't belong until that all doubt was removed from that arguement. Tonight's game was a game that Florida should have never let get in doubt. Arkansas is a one dimensional team, and that dimension got crippled when McFadden got hurt. Even with McFadden playing hurt, it was still a dogfight. Florida is not match for Ohio State. I don't understand why this is so hard to grasp. Michigan played Ohio State at the Horseshoe, and lost by 3 friggin points. 3 POINTS These two teams need to match up on a neutral field. All this bullshit talk about how Tressel dominates Carr is crap. Carr is a good coach, but up until now the team simply hasn't won. This year, these two teams are both very good, they played on Ohio State's turf, and Ohio State won by a field goal. There are 3 teams that can be considered the best in the nation. Ohio State, Michigan, and LSU. It doesn't matter who won what championship, and what teams don't play in a conference that has a conference champion. These are the three elite teams this year. Thanks to the bullshit ideas of college football, 2 loss teams basically don't have a shot, regardless of why or when they lost. Ask me who the best team in the Country is, and I will say LSU. Match LSU against any of the top 10 teams in the nation, and I will put money on LSU. As for the national championship game, Florida does not deserve consideration. |

| Who Me? Admin | and as far as LSU, they may be, but they LOST to Flordia. Their case kinda ends there. Flordia beat them pretty easily, hard to say they are better. I felt OSU was as good as any team in the country at the end of last season ,too bad they focked themselves and lost twice. When you do that, you take yourself out of the conversation. |

| who me? Admin | If Ohio State was the better team, they should have won by far more than 3 points. Ohio State, at home, is almost a guaranteed win. To barely win like that proves that there needs to be a rematch on neutral ground. |

If both win their conference, should we just forget the Superbowl? What matters is who is better at the end of the season, not who was better early in the season. You can argue and use the current format as a reason, but as stated, my arguments are regarding who is actually the better team. If I had to use the current college football format for deciding anything in my mind, I would simply quit watching college football because it is a joke. Rematch LSU against Florida right now and I say LSU dominates. They are better "right now".

| Who Me? Admin | OSU in Arizona is pretty much a gaurenteed win as well. If you want them to play at Horseshoe West, so be it, won't change the outcome. michigan played about as good of a game as they could have hoped for. they got about the best breaks they could have hoped for. And in the end, they still lost. They had the perfect storm to beat the Bucks, and they could not get the job done. Why any rational person would believe they could do it this time is beyond me. |

| who me? Admin | You are talking about two different games. LSU is a much better team than they were when they lost to Florida. They have greatly improved. As for the Ohio State/Michigan game, there was not a clearly better team on the field. There was only a team that did better due to home field advantage. |

I do agree, LSU is a great team right now. They will win the Rose Bowl, and would have even if they played Michigan. But you just can't erase what happened, and what happened is they dropped 2 games.

Now, quit doing like the other Buckeye homer here, bringing Texas into an argument when it is totally irrelevant. Face it, you are looking at every angle possible to find an angle for Michigan to not be worthy of this matchup. Why? because you guys are scared. ![]()
