Basic Rules Framework, Lets get it done

I. The Sports Outlaw - Outlaw County Dynasty League is a FREE league for fun and entertainment purposes only. All disputes will be resolved by the league commissioner or his appointed deputies.

IV. Rosters/Starting Positions
1 QB, 2-3 RB, 2-3 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 2-3 DT/DE, 2-3 LBs, 2-3 CB/S,
The maximum limit on players on your active roster is 29. This does not include a player on IR or Taxi Squad per league rules.

Injured Reserve/Taxi Squad
Each team receives 1 IR spot per year. The player, once placed on IR, CANT be removed. In order to be placed on IR, the players NFL Team must have placed him on injured reserve. A player on IR can not be cut from your team until he removed from IR status. IR status expires the day after the championship game ends.

2 Taxi Squad Spots. You can use the Taxi Squad spot for your "developmental" players. No player with with more than four years in since being drafted can be on your TS.

You can move players back and forth between your TS and active roster.

IR and TS players do not count toward your limit.

V. Waivers
Two waiver moves per week. Other rules TBD. Waiver priority is by record as determined by the site (MFL) No Waivers allowed after kickoff of week 11.

Trades
Trading is allowed from the end of the season until kickoff of week 11. After week 11 rosters are locked for the duration of the season. All trades must be approved by the commissioner. No trade will be allowed which creates an invalid roster.

VI. Scoring
http://football16.myfantasyleague.co...s?L=22840&O=09

VII. Rookie Draft
The draft is 5 rounds starting the first Wednesday in July of each year. The first round of the draft is on a 24 hour timer. All subsequent rounds are on a 12 hour timer. The draft is non serpentine and is decided by reverse order of last years finish. If you time out on a pick, the league continues and you can make your pick when you check in next. If you miss subsequent picks the draft will leap frog you immediately and move on. If you miss three consecutive picks in any draft, your franchise is considered to be abandoned and is placed under control of the league commissioner. One email will be sent to the last known address of the owner informing them of the takeover. If a substantive response is not generated within three days of the email, the franchise will be given to a new owner.

An owner may pass on a pick(s) during the draft. The skipped picks can not be used in subsequent drafts.

The draft order is determined by reverse order of records from the year before.

VIII. Start and Stop Dates for Each Week and Lineup Submission
A valid submitted lineup is due before the kickoff of the first game of the week. From that point you may swap starters in and out in games which the currently selected starter(s)HAVE NOT kicked off yet.

IX. Regular Season Schedule
13 Week regular season - Each team plays divisional opponents twice, other conference opponents once, and three games against non-conference opponents
. Non Conference Schedule is as generated by MFL.

X. Playoffs
Any team deemed abandoned and under commissioner control will not be eligible for post season play. In the event this occurs, all teams below the affected team move up one place.

Six Teams will make the postseason. Four division champions and two wildcards, one from each conference. The North Command Conference 2 and 3 seeds and South Command Conference 2 and 3 seeds will play with each conferences 1 seed getting a first round bye. The winner of each 2/3 game will then play the 1 seed for the Conference Championship. Conference Champions will advance to the Outlaw County Championship Game.

V. Waivers
Two waiver moves per week. Must keep a K and D/ST on the roster at all times
Waiver priority is by record.

I say you can make as many moves as you want...the early and smartest bird gets the worm!

The only thing i would like to suggest is concerning the schedule. Since we have divisions and conference we should play those teams more. I suggest we play each of the 3 division teams twice (6 games) the other division teams within the conference once (4 games) and then either have the last 4 games either against random interconference opponents or pick one division in the opposing conference to play all 4 interconference games this year and switch the division the following year. This will intice solid rivals within divisions and confereces.

Escrow: I gotta copy over the waivers decision into that list.

Deuce: I believe thats actually how I have it set up.

Keep the info coming guys.

I think in the end we decided once you get a player, he is yours for life till he doesnt play anymore or you cut him.

I know with 16 teams it would be nice to have 6 make playoffs and also for scheduling its nice to have 14 weeks. But, with the proposed setup, that makes the championship to be played on week 17? Do you really want to have your championships decided by some of your backups because some of your players are the best?

Clarification on this
"VIII. Start and Stop Dates for Each Week and Lineup Submission
Each lineup is due before the kickoff of the first weeks games."

So, when the thursday night games start, line-up has to be finalized by thursday kickoff? Before the implementation of thursday night games I wouldn't think twice about this. It just seems that this rule would limit the amount of research and fact finding, much less time to deal with injuries.

Other than that, seems fine.

Im working them out as we go Bayton. I can do a 13 week season, and I wont budge on 6 teams making the playoffs. Let me see what I can come up with.

13 Week regular season - *Each team plays divisional opponents twice, other conference opponents once, and three games against non-conference opponents (not home/away balanced).

Works for me....done.

Yeah, without a salary cap to manage the rules are pretty simple.
