Ads turned off for forum members!

Doing a bit of a test run here.

People do not like advertisements on a forum, but they are a necessary evil to keep the lights on. What we are going to try though is to only show ads on the forum to unregistered guests (those not logged in).

This will eliminate the annoyance that comes with constantly seeing ads (though we did get them moved up as far from view as possible), and speed up the page loads.

The plan is to make this a permanent change, though this isn't a guarantee. Goint to try and keep it this way though.

Anyhow, FWIW, I didn't mind the ads at all. Didn't even notice them all that much anyhow. Except for the Bodog one where it looked like the baseball player was taking a piss.

Ads don't bother me either. As long as it's not a pop up, it's pretty much an expected thing for any website

Ads are a way of life - everywhere you look. I really don't mind them here if its for the best.
