A new little feature above "quick reply"

This will mainly be beneficial when there are multiple people viewing a thread. Currently it will check every 10 seconds, and if a reply is made to a thread, a notice will come up just above the quick reply box.

Once yous see it happen, you will know what I am talking about

like it. havent seen it yet, but this will be really nice in game threads and things like that where replies are coming quickly.

I think it is going to be a cool addition to the forum. I haven't seen it in action here yet in any threads, but I did see it on my trucking forum. While I was typing a response in the quick reply, two people responded and both message showed up for me to see.

I've seen something similar in another forum where after you hit [submit reply] if another post had been submitted before yours but after the last one, it "holds" your post and gives you a message letting you know other posts have been made... not a fan, because 99% of the time I'll still post my message as is, the new posts won't affect mine, so I just end up hitting [submit reply] twice... sorry O

But this sounds like a nice alternative Mike, a notification without added an extra step to the post process

Yeah, this simply just shows the actual message that was posted, and it will show up while you are simply staring at the thread, or while you are typing in the quick reply box.

No notifications or anything to slow you down

It made in-game posting much easier this weekend. It's a huge definite plus!
