Cowboys re-sign OT Flozell Adams to 6 year deal

ESPN - Cowboys' Adams agrees to long-term deal; RB Barber tendered offer - NFL

The article also mentions that the Cowboys also gave tenders to RFAs RB Marion Barber and DE Chris Canty. If another team wants one of those two, they'll have to give up a 1st for Canty or a 1st and 3rd for Barber.

Asante Samuel is in Philadelphia today and looks close to signing a deal pending a physical (speculation).

There are rumors of a trade if this goes through, because CB Lito Sheppard would then become expendable. The Eagles are more likely to shop him to Detroit than Arizona, because the Lions are in greater need of a CB and Roy Williams contract situation would be much more feasible after the Samuel acquisition. Fitz's money would be too much - I don't see that happening.

Miami makes the first big free agent signing by getting OG Justin Smiley for 5 years at a relatively bargain price for guards these days, $25 mil.

49ers officially sign RB DeShaun Foster to a 2 year deal. They also come to terms with QB JT O'Sullivan and OLB Dontarrious Thomas.

Cleveland looks like they will be trading their 2nd round pick to Green Bay for DL Corey Williams, who was franchised last week.

As far as I know, this now leaves Cleveland without a 1st (from Brady Quinn) or 2nd round pick at this point.

Tampa Bay signs OC Jeff Faine to biggest deal for center in NFL history.

This should be a big signing for the Bucs to really give them a great young interior line, with Faine at center along with David Joseph and Arron Sears at the guard spots.

The biggest rumor of the day is of the Jets trading LB Jonathan Vilma away, a guy they have never felt fit them very well. The likely destination is the New Orleans Saints, and the cost is unknown. I've seen 3rd round pick some places. Others 1st or 2nd. Others reporting it'd conditional based on how much he plays.
