Update: Rivers has an MCL sprain (right) that he got in the game but was recovering from a MCL sprain in his other knee. LaDainian Tomlinson has a hyperextented left knee, to add some detail. Probably both will go but it will be interesting to see how much work Rivers gets in this week.

Reports are out that the Ravens have offered their top job to Jason Garrett.

This could get pretty interesting. Is this guy really ready for a head job? And what does Dallas do now??

I think this is way to early for a guy who was a OC for only one year. big mistake for a team not that far away. IMO

I heard today that Jerry Jones is set to match any offer by Baltimore to keep Garrett on the staff.

I don't understand why JJ doesn't go ahead and offer him the HC position. They know Phillips isn't the man to take them to a championship.

Pro Football Weekly is reporting that Lane Kiffin could be on the brink of losing his head coaching job.

Pacman Jones reportedly punched a female lawyer at the Body Tap strip club in North Atlanta on January 3rd.

Jones apparently entered the manager's office, accusing the club of stealing money from him and falsely accusing his entourage of owing a tab. Jones reportedly lunged at the woman multiple times during the meeting, in what the lawyer said was an attempt at grave bodily harm. Jones didn't connect until afterwards in the hallway, when he reached around a security guard to "sucker punch" the woman. Not only could this be a violation of Jones' parole, it could result in the league delaying his March return to football activities, and certainly make the Titans less

This guy needs to be banned from the NFL for life!!!

A radio station posted a story about WR Randy Moss being slapped with a restraining order. The article was later removed from the stations website. Some researching resulted has revealed that while A Randy Moss has been restrained by a court order it may not be "The Randy Moss" involved. We will probably hear more detail about this soon.

The St. Petersburg Times is speculating again that Bucs RB Cadillac Williams may not be ready to go next year. With a long rehab to go most of this is speculation at this point.

The Washington Post reports the Redskins recalled Gregg Williams for a fourth time Tuesday regarding their head coaching vacancy.

WDBO-AM Radio has put up their story about a temporary restraining order against Randy Moss again Wednesday. The story was down throughout Wednesday morning after initially posting Tuesday night. Randy Moss admitted it was true Wednesday.

The reporter Rozzie Franco went on WEEI in Boston this morning to say that the story is about the Patriots' Randy Moss. A scanned copy of the order clearly indicates it's the receiver. Franco reports that a hearing in the case is scheduled on January 28th. It's important to note that no criminal charges or arrest has been made, so don't expect the Patriots to address the issue, but this is certainly a distraction the team doesn't need

Marvin Harrison may need surgery on his knee this offseason.

Colts GM Bill Polian says the knee that bothered Marvin throughout 2007 has healed, but revealed he may need a "scope" on the other knee. It seems evident that the 36-year-old Harrison's body has begun to break down

New York Giants CB Aaron Ross (shoulder) participated in practice Tuesday and Wednesday with a brace around his shoulder. He is expected to continue to work throughout the week and should be able to play vs the Packers.

I wouldn't put a lot of stock into what you hear from reporters "coming out of Oakland". There is a lot of media speculation right now, and that's all it is, speculation. When I hear a report about Oakland I pretty much wait until I see it actually happen before I believe it, unless it comes from Kiffin of Al Davis himself.
