Guys I think should be considered are Ron Rivera, Jim Mora Jr, and Raheem Morris (if he doesn't land a head coaching job). As the Broncos are likely to invest early picks to help the secondary, Mora Jr and Morris would be great for getting the kids up to speed sooner rather than later. Young coaches, fresh ideas. | |

| Outlaw | Deion Branch did do some running on the side during Tuesday's practice. Branch, who's dealing with a calf strain, will likely try to work on Wednesday. He's missed the last two games, but is expected to play at Green Bay. Free agent Chris Brown isn't expected back with the Titans in 2008. The Steelers are expected to allow FB Dan Kreider to hit the free agent market this offseason. |

| Outlaw | Looks like the Falcons are thinking about taking a serious run at Carroll ESPN - Sources: Falcons want to interview USC's Carroll for head coaching vacancy - NFL Seems strange with teams looking for coaches before/while looking for GM's. ( Falcons, Dolphins) How much stability would a coach be assured |

| Outlaw | Texans hire Alex Gibbs as assistant It's official: Texans hire Alex Gibbs as assistant | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle Nice to see coach Gibbs back, and especially nice to see the Chiefs denied him (per rumors of their interest in him). If the Texas spend an early pick on a running back, I can only pray he slides to me in dynasty drafts. |

| Resident NFL Draft Guru Moderator | not too shocking to see him hook back up with gary kubiak. houston is an early pick as a sleeper for me next season. they wouldve been one this year if not for all the injuries and still played 500 ball. |

Dallas Cowboys WR Patrick Crayton will likely be heavily involved in the middle of the field because of the coverages the New York Giants use. In seven career games against the Giants, Crayton has 23 receptions for 321 yards and one touchdown. Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens (ankle) did not participate in practice Jan. 9, but he did go through rehab. The Cowboys hope he will be able to practice Thursday, Jan. 10. Head coach Wade Phillips said Owens may be able to play in the team's Divisional Round playoff game even if he does not practice this week. He continues to be considered a game-time decision but will likely play. |

Concerning Anderson: "I think the deserving thing is to say he's the starter going into next year," Savage said. "He's done nothing to lose the job." Savage also believes Anderson and Brady Quinn can co-exist on Cleveland's roster and that having two quality QBS gives the Browns a distinct advantage over other teams. Cowboys | Owens a game-time decision for Divisional Round Thu, 10 Jan 2008 15:34:56 -0800 Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens (ankle) ran routes, made cuts in both directions and participated in some team drills in practice Thursday, Jan. 10. Owens is a game-time decision but seems likely to play in the team's Divisional Round playoff game. also: Terrell Owens (ankle) said in an NFL Network exclusive with Deion Sanders that he'll play in the Divisional Round "at a high level" against the Giants. Deion offered to tell viewers to get their popcorn ready, but Owens took it upon himself. "Getcha popcorn ready," he said confidently. Owens' practice participation was listed as "limited" on Thursday, but coach Wade Phillips grinned while saying T.O. only took part in "some" team work. It'll be a shock if Owens is inactive. He was part of the greatest offensive line in league history with Dallas during the 1990s and played at a high level up until this past season. Allen will be remembered as one of the strongest NFL players ever. |
