Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren believes the knee injury Deion Branch suffered on Saturday is serious.

A torn ACL or patellar tendon would jeopardize Branch's status for Week 1 in 2008 and likely make retaining D.J. Hackett even more of a priority. Branch will have an MRI done Monday to determine the injury's exact extent.

Mark Curnutte, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Johnson said during a radio interview that the Bengals should trade him if they believe he was the problem for the team's disappointing season. "Now the season is over. I was the problem. I have been a distraction. Chad Johnson, the fingers were pointed at me. My celebrations, all this stuff was the reason we were losing. The only thing for me to do or say now is, if you guys, as a team and organization, want to further yourself in the playoffs, I think you need to get rid of what the problem was during the season," Johnson said.

Julius Jones, an impending free agent, doesn't want to return to Dallas in 2008. He'll likely be pursued by teams in need of a breakaway threat, but won't get starter's money. Expect the Notre Dame alum to land in a committee situation.
