The Broncos reportedly hope to keep Travis Henry in 2008, and use him as a bruising complement to Selvin Young.

Henry, a cap casualty candidate this offseason, says he wants to "make it right" with the Broncos. "I want to be a Bronco. I don't want to be anywhere else," he said. Henry regrets letting a promising start to 2007 (he led the NFL in rushing through one month) become a mess due to injuries and an alleged positive drug test. He'll likely need to take a pay cut to stay

ESPN.com reports an arbitrator has ruled in favor of the Philadelphia Eagles in their case against Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens, with Owens owing the team nearly $800,000 in signing bonus money, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. In 2005, Owens was suspended four games without pay for "behavior that was disruptive to the team." Owens was then told not to return for the remaining five games of the season. The four-game suspension cost Owens $764,704. And when Owens and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, did not reply to a letter requesting Owens return his signing bonus, the team garnished his last five paychecks, totalling $955,880. With the arbitration ruling, Owens owes the team another $769,120 to complete a $1.725 million signing-bonus repayment.

Cut and pasted from another site. This is getting some run.
----------------------------------------------------------

I've heard this twice now. Once on ESPN radio this morning. Apparently, Mortenson is reporting that a trade is being discussed that would send Marion Barber to the Dolphins for the #1 overall pick.

I pray this isn't true because Dallas doesn't have to give up Barber to get McFadden. There is no way in hell Parcells would take McFadden #1 overall. They have much more pressing needs than RB.

He will go #3 to Atlanta at the earliest. I'd rather give up both 1st round picks to Atlanta for McFadden if Jones is bound and determined to get him.

Personally, I'm at the point where I keep the picks and take a cornerback and a RB like Felix Jones.
--------------------------------------------------
Nothing between the lines is from me. I just cut and pasted it.

RC I have no idea what Jones in thinking but in no way would I make that trade. Barber is a beast and would have been a top 5 back if he didnt have to share carries. He had the second highest yards per carry with 4.8 tied with Westbrook and behind AP. Why do the Cowboys not like this guy?

Remember this is talk from another board. I want to make sure that everyone realizes this isn't backed with a news link. I feel that Jones wants McFadden at all costs, and tend to feel they would part with barber to get him. It does devalue Julius Jones a bunch though. They might not want to move him for what they are gonna be offered, and he won't take a pay cut to play behind another rookie.

Brady: Only 17 Points?

Brady was puzzled by Burress' prediction that the New York Giants would beat the New England Patriots 23-17 in Sunday's Super Bowl. The fact Burress picked the Giants hardly surprised the league's MVP. The score certainly did.
"We're only going to score 17 points?" Brady said Wednesday morning before chuckling. "OK. Is Plax playing defense?
"I wish he had said 45-42 and gave us a little credit for more points."

Larry Johnson told the NFL Network's Adam Schefter Wednesday that his foot is "100 percent," and that he'll be a full go for OTAs.

The Chiefs break for Offseason Team Activities this spring. Johnson says he's excited about new offensive coordinator Chan Gailey, who plans to use L.J. like Gailey did Jerome Bettis in Pittsburgh. Gailey coordinated the Steelers' offense in 1996 and 1997. Bettis was an All-Pro those two seasons, rushing for a combined 3,096 yards on 695 carries (4.45 YPC)
