Adrian Peterson, RB MIN

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson was upgraded to questionable Friday, increasing his chances of playing against the New York Giants on Sunday.

I think most doubt he will play until next week. Can the Vikings be that stupid?

Marshawn Lynch (high ankle sprain), who has been ruled out for Week 12, reportedly walked without a significant limp on Friday.

Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels says he's confident Laurence Maroney can handle a 25-carry load if asked to. Maroney is believed to get extended work against the Eagles on Sunday night.

NYGiants RBs. Brandon Jacobs is OUT. After that it is a little cloudy, confusing and contradictory. With Derrick Ward, I have seen reports that Ward had practiced fully on Friday and that his practice was limited. I doubt the reports that say he practiced fully friday as he is listed as doubtful. A full Friday participation should have made an upgrade in status to questionable or probable for Ward. The reports that say Ward was limited in practice Friday and is a "long shot" Game Time Decision seem to have more weight. Be very cautious and only use Ward if he is active is my take. Reuben Droughns will probably be the primary ballcarrier.
Niner RB Frank Gore practiced Friday and is probable.
Texans RB Ahman Green is Out. RB Ron Dayne will be the primary ball carrier as Adimchinobe Echemandu rushed once for two yards and fumbled in Week 11 rushed once for two yards in Week 11.

Dolphins | Chatman limited in practice and is listed as questionable. Those covering the Dolphins say Chatman didn't improve, and reportedly got worse, as the week wore on. If Chatman is declared inactive Monday evening, Ricky Williams would be a desperate flex play in a tough matchup at Pittsburgh. Ricky probably won't see a full workload in his first game back.

Hmmm...could we possibly see Ricky on MNF?

From Fox Sports:

Panthers QB Vinny Testaverde experienced stiffness in his lower back when he awoke Saturday morning and spent hours with the trainers on Saturday. There were plans to give him a muscle relaxant Saturday night with the hopes that he will be able to play. Both teams should have their playmakers. Interestingly, both Carolina WR Steve Smith and New Orleans RB Reggie Bush have bruised shins. Smith missed last week's game, but practiced the past two days. David Carr would start, not Matt Moore, if Testaverde can't go. The Saints get back LT Jammal Brown and LDE Charles Grant in the starting lineup. Look for Saints QB Drew Brees to test the Panthers deep much like Brett Favre did.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Tennessee Titans WR Mike Williams will not play Week 12. He currently weighs 271 pounds. The team is planning to work him in as a H-back, tight end and wide receiver.

Carr admitted this week that he's not 100%. Things could get ugly in Carolina today. CB Chris Gamble, RB Alex Haynes, LB James Anderson, OLs Evan Mathis and Frank Omiyale, DT Gary Gibson, and DE Charles Johnson are the Panthers' other inactives. Richard Marshall starts at left corner for Gamble.
