With back-to-back wins, the Redskins playoff hopes have improved and they are holding out hope that Campbell could be back by then, but other injuries may force their hand. With a decent run by Todd Collins, Campbell is unlikely to be rushed back any sooner.

Smith was inactive on Sunday and could miss this nice matchup against the Saints. Backup Matt Schobel suffered a concussion last week, so the Eagles may be forced to turn to rookie Brent Celek.

Coles is as tough a receiver as there is in the league, but he was only able to go for one play in Week 15 after suffering a weekend setback with his high ankle sprain. Monitor the situation, but Coles owners should look elsewhere this week.

Even as a QB2, McCown is non-fantasy option against the Jaguars as the Raiders will continue to give rookie JaMarcus Russell playing time.

Lol, Thanks for doing this weeks start up, Ram !!! I have been in and out all morning as the cupboards were bare.
Stranger things have happened. last week in SOFFL it looked like I was going to start Brodie Croyle until Bulger got healthy, turns out Brodie was the better play anyhow. Still those in 2QB leagues are often playing unlikely fantasy heroes at QB and McCown is probably useful to them.

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports Atlanta Falcons CB DeAngelo Hall, CB Chris Houston, WR Roddy White, TE Alge Crumpler and WR Joe Horn were fined a combined total of $47,500 by the National Football League for uniform violations stemming from demonstrations of their support for QB Michael Vick during the team's loss to the New Orleans Saints Dec. 10.

Rams | Holt expected to start Week 16

St. Louis Rams WR Torry Holt (groin) was limited in practice Tuesday, Dec. 18, but is expected to start Week 16.

FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer reports that the Falcons have spoken with Bill Parcells about joining the organization, and the talks have gone well beyond the "exploratory" stage.

The man doesn't know how to quit. It's uncertain if Parcells is looking to coach or land a front office job, although most people believe the latter. The Dolphins have also reportedly shown interest

Saints placed DT Brian Young on injured reserve with a rare form of pneumonia, ending his season.

The Chiefs plan to test Larry Johnson's foot more this week in an effort to see if he can play again this season.

Though the Jets are saying Kellen Clemens suffered a rib injury on Sunday, there is some belief he hurt his shoulder as well.

According to ESPN radio this morning, it will be in a front office roll. Current GM McKay will not be back next year, so Parcells would have full player control and also control of who will coach. I do believe him coaching is still a possibility though.

Owner Arthur Blank said Wednesday that Bill Parcells has backed out of his deal with Atlanta to be the team's next executive vice president.

Blank met with Parcells in Saratoga, New York on Wednesday with a verbal accord in place. He issued this statement after talks ended: "We were made aware by Parcells that he was considering a revised offer from the Miami Dolphins. He later informed us that he would not be signing a contract with us
A source confirmed to the Miami Herald that the agent for Bill Parcells is in negotiations with the Dolphins.

The source couldn't say how far close to a deal the sides were, but at this point it seems likely that the Fins' offer was better than the Falcons', and that Parcells will land in South Beach. Maybe owner Wayne Huizenga will be less willing to sell half his franchise with Parcells calling the football shots.

Cowboys | Williams suspension upheld

The Associated Press reports the NFL has denied Dallas Cowboys SS Roy Williams' appeal of his one-game suspension. The suspension will be upheld and enforced for Week 16, keeping Williams on the sidelines for the game. In addition, Williams will lose his game check of $35,000.

The Associated Press reports Dallas Cowboys SS Keith Davis will start at strong safety in Week 16 in place of SS Roy Williams, who is suspended for the game. CB Courtney Brown may also be used as a replacement in certain packages.

Texans | Schaub misses practice Wednesday

Megan Manfull (LOL), of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 19. Schaub is trying to decide whether to undergo surgery on his shoulder. QB Sage Rosenfels will start at quarterback Week 16.

Doesn't matter, they have actually been doing better with Sage at the helm.
