Ohh, this is from the same guy who's been promising he'd play for two weeks and then scratches at gametime. Proceed with caution and keep your eyes on the news if you've got the option of playing Chatman this weekend.

ESPN.com's John Clayton says that Sidney Rice has a high ankle sprain.

He is most likely out for the rest of the regular season, and then may have a chance to return if the Vikings make the playoffs

Larry Johnson (foot) has been ruled out for Week 16 after suffering a possible setback in Wednesday's practice.

Troy Smith will start at quarterback for the Ravens in Week 16.

Looking even better for those with that Seattle D in the championships this week.

Been reading on several sites that Rudi Johnson missed practice Wed., Thurs., and today with hamstring issues. Maybe Miller has some homer news ??

from Bengals,com
Quote:
Running back Rudi Johnson (hamstring) didn't work for the second straight day Thursday and wasn't out there at the beginning Friday, indicating he won't be ready Sunday. Cornerback Deltha O'Neal was sick and sat out. Wide receiver Chris Henry (ankle), who missed Wednesday's practice, went full go Thursday.

For the IDP guys out there

Quote:
Houston Chronicle (from Dec 18)

Ryans injured his right knee against Tampa Bay when he tore his posterior cruciate ligament.

He missed practice last week but started against Denver.

Dayne sprained his ankle three weeks ago and was unable to practice all of last week. He didn't start in the 31-13 victory over the Broncos, but ended up playing a critical role in the Dec. 13 game at Reliant Stadium.

Neither Ryans nor Dayne anticipates being sidelined for the next two games.

"I can't see that," said Ryans, who also has a sprained ankle. "This is what I enjoy doing.

"You'd have to cut my legs off to pull me off the field. I've been so blessed. I can't sit out a game. I enjoy it too much. I've never missed a game (at any level) because of injury. I'll be fine this week.

"I haven't been able to move like I want. But, being the quarterback of the defense, I can't let it slow me down. I've got to be out there."
Quote:
Dec 20 Ryans (knee) participated in Thursday's practice, the Texans' official site reports.

Recommendation: Ryans, who was named to the Pro Bowl earlier this week, is expected to play this week against Indianapolis.
He's on my bench
