Injuries Continue To Plague Rams.

Just when it looked like the winless Rams were starting to get healthy, several key players were banged up in Sunday's 27-20 loss to Cleveland.

An informative article that helps explain why your Rams Players are under performing this year. At least SJax popped for a TD before getting hurt.

What's up with Alex Smith. He played the whole game yesterday and appeared to throw ok, but when he was coming off or in the huddle, it looked like his arm was going to fall off. He got crushed and even came up holding his shoulder. The 49ers suck. If it's not time already, it will soon be time to set Smith and let him fully heal for next season.

Hackett and Branch to Return to Lineup

October 29 09:51 AM

Seahawks starting WRs D.J. Hackett and Deion Branch are expected to be back in the starting lineup Week 9.

Fantasy Spin:
Branch should be back in his starting role, but Hackett's role in the offense is a big question mark. He'll likely be worked gradually back into his starting role.

This could be a huge watchout for those who have been riding Engram....like me in PPR leagues. If Branch AND Hackett are back...and really integrated....Engram's value could drop.

The Houston Chronicle and Rotoworld are reporting that Matt Schaub may be sidelined for this week's game against the Oakland Raiders with a concussion sustained in the team's Week 8 game

The Minnesota Vikings are the latest NFL club to be hit with a rash of injuries. With starting QB Tarvaris Jackson already sidelined with a broken finger, Kelly Holcomb started the team's Week 8 game.

Rotowire reports there's a realistic chance that Bollinger could get the start in Week 9 against the San Diego Chargers.

Steven Jackson, RB STL

Rams coach Scott Linehan said Monday that running back Steven Jackson, sidelined by back spasms in the first half of his Week 8 game has a bulging disk. Linehan said Jackson's injury is treatable and was optimistic Jackson could be back in the lineup without missing a game after the Rams' bye this weekend.

I've said if before and I'll repeat it: Penny isn't the reason the Jets blow. Benching him for a guy who hasn't done jack with his previous chances is a big mistake. Mangini is folding under the NY media pressure.

I was hearing back around week 3 that this might very well happen, but wasn't sure how much the contract would be.

Great contract for Romo, and it works out great for Dallas as they can apply quite a bit of it to this year's cap. They are about 13 million under the cap.

Now they have a couple other contracts to consider. T.O., and Barber if they plan on keeping him.

Redskins Carlos Rogers to IR

The knee injury that forced Washington Redskins cornerback Carlos Rogers from Sunday's 52-7 loss to the New England Patriots will also end his season.

Rogers will have season-ending surgery to repair torn ligaments -- the medial collateral ligament and the anterior cruciate ligament -- in his right knee. An MRI on Monday revealed the tears in the ACL and MCL. He will have surgery in about two weeks and begin rehabilitation with the possible goal of returning for next year's training camp.

David Garrard will likely miss at least one more game as the Jaguars' starting QB, reports the Jacksonville Times-Union. "I think he's likely to start walking around (off his crutches) and moving this week," Jags head coach Jack Del Rio said Monday. "The most likely scenario would be to have him possibly return against the Titans (in Week 10). I think it would be very difficult (for him) to make it back this week." Quinn Gray, who completed seven of 16 passes in the 24-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7, will get the second start of his NFL career against the Saints in Week 9 if Garrard can't play.

Ahman Green, RB HOU

The Houston Chronicle reports that Texans coach Gary Kubiak admitted Monday he is "concerned" about Ahman Green's knee. Green was inactive for the third time in five weeks with swelling in his knee in Week 8. Kubiak said he is unsure what Green's status will be this week

Is it time to finally start dumping this guy?

Matt Schaub, QB HOU

According to the Houston Chronicle, Texans QB Matt Schaub was still feeling the effects of a concussion Monday he suffered in Week 8 against the San Diego Chargers. Schaub is listed as day-to-day, but Sage Rosenfels is expected to start against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

Owen Daniels, TE HOU

Texans TE Owen Daniels suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 8 against the Chargers, according to the Houston Chronicle, and is availability will be day-to-day this week.

Andre Johnson, WR HOU

According to the Houston Chronicle, Texans WR Andre Johnson will likely participate more in practice starting Wednesday after participating in a limited amount of drills last week. It's possible he could play in Week 8, but his return is more likely against New Orleans after the Texans' bye week.

Another team just being devastated by injuries this season. Lets hope their all back after the bye week.
