| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Moderator | Panther QB David Carr has a compression fracture in his back. It is said that he will probably be bothered by this injury for the rest of the year. He seems to be on track to start this week despite not being 100%. If the prospect of having to start Carr at 100% didn't make you nervous enough think of using an 80% Carr. Radiers WR Ronald Curry is looking kinda iffy for this week with a foot injury. He didn't finish Wed. practice but he may still come around. Don't just stick him in your lineup without checking later in the week. Saints RB Reggie Bush left last weeks game after banging up his ribs. He seems like he will be ready to go as he practiced Wed. Jags RB Maurice Jones -Drew was limited in practice last week and didn't see as many carries as expected last week . He is not on the injury report this week and should see more action. |

| Bloggin' Outlaw Premium Member Moderator | Colts WR Marvin Harrison May Have Knee Pain Long Term. Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison has been told his knee pain is likely to persist through the remainder of the season and perhaps for the rest of his career, a source said Friday. Specialists who have examined Harrison do not view surgery as a viable option because there is no guarantee of success and would require six months of rehabilitation. Colts coach Tony Dungy said Harrison has been medically cleared to play Sunday against New England. Harrison is urging the coaches to let him do just that. But Dungy wants to make the best decision for the whole season, not just one midseason game. Harrison is officially listed as questionable for the game. As if Harrison owners didn't have enough to worry about this week about his starting status. This will really send them popping Tums. ESPN - Source: Harrison's knee pain unlikely to go away - NFL |

COLTS DENY HARRISON REPORT The Indianapolis Colts have denied a report from Ed Werder of ESPN that receiver Marvin Harrison will deal with knee pain for the rest of his playing career. "The Indianapolis Colts have received no medical opinion that comes close to validating the report," the Colts said in a statement. So why do the Colts even care? If there's information that makes an opponent uncertain about a guy's health, so be it. Making a big deal about it only makes people suspicious that maybe the situation is even worse than advertised.
