Seattle Seahawks RB Maurice Morris may see more playing time than RB Shaun Alexander in the team's wild-card playoff game because Morris is faster and more versatile than Alexander.

Seattle Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck (wrist) participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 3. It appears Hasselbeck is not having an issue with his right wrist despite it being wrapped.

Seattle Seahawks WR D.J. Hackett (ankle) participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 3. He will be able to play in the team's wild-card playoff game and may start in the game.

Seattle Seahawks WR Deion Branch (calf) ran during practice Thursday, Jan. 3. He may be able to play in the team's wild-card playoff game.

Jeff Darlington, of The Miami Herald, reports former WR Keyshawn Johnson has not ruled out the possibility of making a comeback to play with the Miami Dolphins. Johnson is close friends with vice president of football operations Bill Parcells. Johnson's agent, Jerome Stanley, said Johnson is happy with his job at ESPN but mentioned if Parcells thought Johnson could be an impact then it might be enough to lure him out of retirement.

An NFL source tells the Palm Beach Post that Browns coach Romeo Crennel is on the Dolphins' "A list" of head coaching candidates.

The Ravens will interview Browns offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski regarding their head coaching vacancy.

ESPN's Len Pasquarelli reports Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels will not interview for any head coaching jobs in 2008.

He has a broken foot and is likely lost for all of the postseason. June, the Bucs' top cover linebacker, is expected to be replaced by Ryan Nece on early downs. Rookie Quincy Black will take June's spot in the nickel defense

It is all media speculation at this point as to who wanted him gone and who wanted him to stay, but the Raiders off-season is getting off to a rocky start.
