HOLY CRAP!!!! TAKE IT FEDERER!!!!!!

Even though he will not be playing Nadal, Federer will have a chance to reclaim the title in Wimbeldon after loosing to the youngin' last year.

What do you think, EC???

"I'm just not 100 percent," the No. 1-ranked Nadal said during a news conference at the All England Club. "I'm better than I was a couple of weeks ago, but I just don't feel ready."

His announcement came about 2½ hours after he lost to Stanislas Wawrinka in an exhibition match on grass at the Hurlingham Club in south London.

"Today was the last test," Nadal said. "I didn't feel terrible but not close to my best."

well, i'd heard he was injured and wasn't sure he'd participate, so this doesn't surprise me completely.

i guess i'd really rather they could face off again, and federer could win, but... what can you do?

Roger's going to get to run the GS number a little higher it seems.

I'm not all that surprised either because right after he loss in the French Open there was discussion of him not being ready for Wimbeldon. I would love for Federer to beat Nadal in Wimbeldon, that would feel so good to watch, but I'm happy with it. I'm not ready for the Nadal era, just yet.

nadal era is here and now my friend. Roger going for his 15th GS title! It would be nice for him to "earn" it by beating Nadal but this shouldnt be overlooked.
