going by "the chart", a team with the #4 pick in the draft would have to give up all 7 of it's draft picks, including the 1.04, and still wouldn't equal the value of the 1.01. If teams with the #1 are holding out for that kind of value it's no wonder we don't see many trades for it. (not many teams have 2 1st rd picks to offer for it)

no, the chart IS accurate, and thats exactly it. the #1 pick isnt getting traded. if it does somehow, it would only be down like 2-3 spots if theres someone dying to move up for a guy and overpaying. the #1 pick comes with a mammoth salary and more and more teams the last few years are straying away from doing any sort of movement up into the top 10. its just too expensive in this era of football. unless someone decides to trade up to #1 for dorsey or long, a trade isnt happening imo.

I stopped Limas Sweed's parents the other night. His wrist is fully healed and he's working his ass off for the combine. Id like to see him go 1st round, but I dont know that he will.

And McFadden to the Chiefs? Theyve got RBs a plenty already.
