My opinion....but OL and Rb are dire needs here. I can't see Chicago walking away from Brohm either..but will go Mendenhall here

I went with Otah, they need to fix the line before it matters who the RB is.

Any of these picks would be helpful. But Mendenhall might put the most butts in the seats while they clean up the rest of the mess.

Actually, I agree with you here. But here is the real issue. They have lost alot of ground with fans due to loss of Berrian, trading away Jones...and no QB option other than what they had last year and year before...

If they don't go QB...they have to go Mendenhall to show at least some effort to rebuild a terrible offense. Add in the fact he is a local boy as well from U of Ill....makes it a good situation.

Went with Brohm here. Mendenhall will appease disgruntled CHI fans but RBs are expected to produce immdiately, they don't want to see another Benson. Brohm will appease the fans too (not as much as the home town kid) but with QBs knowledgable fans allow a grace period of at least a season. So draft the QB now, he'll be ready to play in a year or 2. And during that time you draft your lineman, who are usually ready to play right out of the draft.

i really cant see this pick being a RB. they just used a top 5 pick on one three years ago and they also have two solid backups on the roster, and they have MUCH bigger needs elsewhere. RB is one of the easiest positions on the roster to fill. its not like they are passing on AD or DMac here. it would be a big mistake to take a RB mostly because hes from illinois and would galvanize the fans. even the bears arent dumb enough to do that.
