I vote for Derrick Harvey. The Lions really need more of a left tackle than a right tackle like Otah, I don't think Stewart is special enough to be considered a value at this selection (unless the line gets better, I don't see him being better than Bell), and even though the Lions lost Shaun Rodgers, I don't like Balmer's motor and wouldn't take him at #15. Meanwhile, a good defense starts with the line, and I like Harvey's potential.

Heck, I know this isn't realistic, but how about this: the Lions take Brian Brohm, sit him for a while until Kitna completely wears himself out (which I don't anticipate taking too much longer, especially with that line). That gives Brohm time, which would probably help succeed as the team puts pieces around him.

Anyway, I only mention it because I really don't see the Lions as being just a player or two away from being a competitor. At least this would give them a plan, which I can't say I've discerned from watching the Lions since I've started keeping up with the NFL in 2000.

There is always other.

With Colletto running the offense though...I don't think it a high priority.

I went with Otah. I believe the kid has the raw athleticism to be inserted immediately at any number of line positions.

They need to keep Kitna upright so he can try to back up his talk. Otah is the choice that makes the most sense, but this is a Millen draft!

I joined in with Otah. Even if he plays Right Tackle thats less pressure coming at Kitna from that side. The running potential should also be enhanced on that side as well.
