Cowboys are on the clock thanks to a trade with Cleveland!

Dallas can grab a RB here for around $10 million instead trading to get McFaddy for $60 million.

Honestly, I was somewhat stumped here. I saw need at Rb, Wr, and Cb. But the top Cbs are flying...and I don't know if many have Flowers rated this high. So Wr or Rb are probably the target. Had Albert made it here..I think he would be a lock...but with no real DL talent rated this high...I see rb or Wr. I am not sold on Thomas..and absolutely see bust on Jackson...or rb is my pick as well. My question is..do they want change of pace for Barber...if so Jones is the pick. If they want the best rb available..then Stewart is the pick. I went best available.

With the top 4 CB's gone I went with Stewart.

honest question -- why is flowers even listed in these last few? is he even a 1st round prospect? if we're only choosing 4 people to list, i just feel like there have to be better options out there than 2 RBs and a second round corner.

Seen 2 mocks with him in the first, but both at the end. nfldraftcountdown and prodraftguide.

I think he was included b/c he's the next best CB and it's a need for them.

Thumbs up

I absolutely expect DAL to trade up for an RB, but the way things fell out in this format I picked Stewart.

I went with Jones. The guy is already used to riding Supermans cape, and him + MBIII equals greatness. Plus he can return if needed.

I think they'll def go CB here, but I bet someone rated better than Flowers will still be around for them here in the real draft. With the way things are shaking out, I think they might take a WR here and go for a RB with their next pick in the first round--whichever is left of Felix or Stewart.

Looks like Stewart is the clear choice here for Dallas

Miller addressed this..but wanted to add my comments as well.

Is Flowers a reach here...yes. I am higher on him than most...so while i agree he is a reach here..he will be a steal in the 2nd round where most see him going.

As Miller points out there are at least a few mocks that have him going first round. Including some at ESPN have him rated late first for a while.

As stated before, I look at need, and what top talent is still available...while there are some others maybe ranked higher than Flowers..none met key needs for Dallas.
