Canucks on a Tear

After a horrible first 6 weeks in 2008 the Vancouver Canucks have turned it around at just the right time. Currently riding a 4 game winning streak they are 6-1-3 in their last 10 games. Look for them to maintain this torrid pace through their last 20 games to the playoffs as their remaining schedule is fairly soft. With 4 games in hand over Dallas the #2 seed in the western conference is not only possible, it is probable.

Bring back the Boston Brawlers and the Broad Street bullies and maybe someone will actually watch Hockey again. Such a sad case for once the greatest sport.

The Canucks hung on just long enough to beat Dallas. Thanks to a lucky bounce off a skate they slipped out of town with a victory. The Canucks solidified their grip on one of the final Western Conference playoff spots, improving to 82 points with a 2-2 road trip.
