Knowshon Moreno - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

Knowshon Moreno

Running Back - Georgia
  • Height - 5'11"
  • Weight - 208 - Official Combine Weight: 217
  • 40 Time - 4.45 - Official Combine time - 4.63
2008 Stats:
  • 1400 rushing yards, 392 Receiving yards
  • 16 Rushing TD's, 2 Receiving TD's
Draft Projection - First Round

NFL Impact
Knowshon Moreno is an explosive back who has all the tools to be a three down back at the next level. He has good build and is explosive in the open field. Has good, but not great speed. He is very elusive as a runner and possesses good vision. He has proven to be durable in his two years as a starter at Georgia and was very productive in the rugged SEC. He runs with high intensity and finishes runs.

So where do you think Moreno will land? How successful will he be in the NFL?

Moreno came into the combine at 217!! If he can now run a solid 40 time he may make a claer jump to the top of the RB rankings this year.

He's bigger than most thought! He played this season under 210 and he bulked up over the last couple months, should be interesting to see what kind of time he can run at that weight.

Showed that it translated into good strength; recorded 25 in the Bench Press.

ouch, the bulk did not translate into more speed during his run: 4.55 & 4.63.

Another guy who's film does all the talking for him. The drill that tells you what you need to know about Moreno is his 6.84 in the 3-cone, 2nd best among RB's.

That 3 cone drill was big for him. I'm still suprised at his 40 time, but guys is still a big time player.
