Alge Crumpler a good value or on the decline?

Alge Crumpler is dropping into the later rounds of every mock draft I have seen on Outlaw. Even in a ppr scoring system he is going alot later than I would have expected. Crumpler put up borderline top 5 numbers at TE catching errant passes from Michael Vick for several seasons. Seems as though he is in a similar situation in Tennessee. No WRs that are worth squat and a mobile QB that you have to spy.

I think he's in a great spot and he's one of my TE targets this year!

I agree, as an 11th round pick (or so), he has real 'sleeper' value. He should have a lot more opportunity then he did with Harrington.

I think he will have a better year then last year but its hard to buy the Tennessee situation. Wasnt Scaife supposed to be huge last year but did nothing? I do believe he is worth the pick in the spot he is going.

Scaife is no where near the talent that Crumpler is. Not even close.

While physically he may be declining in an overall sense you have to like the move to the Titans. As Zee said he had Harrington and assorted QBs throwing recently. ER pointed out that as he is a much better overall talent than Scaife.

Crumpler is Big and Cagy veteran . He knows how to slip through a seam with ease and has tremendous hands to boot. I can just see the openings a mobile Qb will provide to Crumpler now that he has one again.

Young starts moving in Crumplers direction in a scramble. Crumpler is a good enough blocker to seal the end off so Young goes around.

Young starts moving in Crumplers direction in a scramble. Crumpler is experienced enough to know Young won't make the corner. Releases his block and is wide open.

Young starts moving away from Crumpler. Crumpleris probably open in this situation, if not he knows how to get open and just where to go n the field for a mobile QB already.

It just brings a to my face and you can get him that late.

It would be interesting to see how the situation in TEN is compared to ATL.

Vince Young has that tendency to win games, someone's gotta help and Crumpler's the only other playmaker on the squad.

I think the Titans now have 3 playmakers on that offense.

A Veteran in Alge Crumpler
A young star in Vince Young
And a rookie by the name of Chris Johnson

Watch that 2nd video for good footage showing how well that rookie can run through traffic. You can't teach that.

This guy will open up the Titans receiver, and create big opportunities for both Young and Crumpler this year.
