Side note to Zepp -- I do not see Brock Berlin's name listed anywhere on the teams so I guess his "snub" was confirmed by the AP voters as well.

Zepp, you are one who refuses to accept reality. The AP voters and Heisman voters said that Brock Berlin was not among the best players in the country. They are the ones who vote for honors of this nature, not you or I. They are "experts", far more so than you are. Apparently, they were unimpressed.
They have spoken -- loudly.

They have, however, the last word.

True, they have the last word for their own opinionated decisions in regards to anything with AP attached to it. Doesnt keep anybody and everybody from disagreeing and having their own thoughts.

I agree completely with your statement, Mojo.
The voters do, however, have a history of picking pretty good players to the top 3 teams. There are snubs every year, but to insist that a player that is not mentioned is deserving of Heisman mention is quite a stretch.

again why is it a stretch when his numbers are almost the same as the guy who won it?

Zepp, Brock Berlin was not as good as you wanted him to be and whining about it won't change anything. Accept the fact that he was not snubbed and go on.
The stretch is that if Brock Berlin played for anyone other than Miami, you'd be on the opposite side of the discussion, which is your norm.

Again how is he not "as good" when his numbers showed that he was JUST as good as the guy who won the heisman?

Zepp, had Brock Berlin played at Tennessee, The Ohio State, Georgia or Georgia Tech, you'd say his stats didn't mean anything.
The AP voters weren't impressed by his performance.
Enough said.

And again my point is their selection of Matt Leinart is hypocritical because they didn't even invite a guy who had almost the same exact numbers that he posted with a superior team.

Thank you for proving my point completely. You are simply whining about your home team not being mentioned.
