Croyle was off to a decent start in the first quarter, but was unable to make it through the first quarter before suffering a sprained knee at the hands of Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth. Coach Herm Edwards has said that Croyle will not play again this season due to the knee injury. |

Donate | This kid just can't catch a break. Considering Pigpen and Huard are both known garbage I wonder if Herm hits what is left of the free agent market for a better alternative quarterback.
I know everyone's first reaction would be Culpepper. But what other alternatives would make sense? Does hitting the market make sense as a program or do the Cheifs throw in the towel |

Donate | Injuries was the big concern for Brodie Croyle when he was drafted. It is beginning to look like those concerns are becoming a reality.
As for getting a new quarterback, I don't see the Chiefs wasting time on a free agent. All of these quarterbacks would look better if the team wasn't so bad all around.
Looks like it might be time for the Chiefs to be looking at a quarterback with their very early 1st round draft pick in 2009. |
