Brodie Croyle Done For Year

Sports Outlaw NFL News Blog Archive Brodie Croyle Out For Year With Knee Injury

Croyle was off to a decent start in the first quarter, but was unable to make it through the first quarter before suffering a sprained knee at the hands of Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth. Coach Herm Edwards has said that Croyle will not play again this season due to the knee injury.

This kid just can't catch a break. Considering Pigpen and Huard are both known garbage I wonder if Herm hits what is left of the free agent market for a better alternative quarterback.

I know everyone's first reaction would be Culpepper. But what other alternatives would make sense? Does hitting the market make sense as a program or do the Cheifs throw in the towel

Injuries was the big concern for Brodie Croyle when he was drafted. It is beginning to look like those concerns are becoming a reality.

As for getting a new quarterback, I don't see the Chiefs wasting time on a free agent. All of these quarterbacks would look better if the team wasn't so bad all around.

Looks like it might be time for the Chiefs to be looking at a quarterback with their very early 1st round draft pick in 2009.

Croyle was only back for less than one quarter, so I can' see Bowe's fantasy value being affected at all.
