Oh. My. God. Savage is a douche bag. An ignoramus. A complete and utter buffoon. Yeah, they only gave up a 7th, but they did so for a corner who's probably not any better than the rookie they released. If Ireland and Parcells manage to find a gem from this pick next draft, I'm going to grave dig this thread just to relive the glory of one of the greatest bait and switch routines ever.

So I take it this guy is a bum?

Uh, yeah, he probably should've never been drafted. He was good in college, but all that talent just evaporated somewhere between his last season at LSU and the start of his pro career. The irony of it is that the Browns originally contacted the Phins about acquiring Michael Lehan, but Parcells was like, "No, I don't think so, but for a 7th we'll give you Travis Daniels."

Daniels would've been cut eventually, which is why this is all so hilarious to me, but the Browns are hurting so bad at the corner position that they're desperate for any warm body they don't have to develop.
