I picked Rudi simply because he's had consistant production while C. Williams has only been around for a year, it's far too early to tell if he's going to be putting up 1000+ yard rushing seasons on a consistent basis.

The Bengals has always had a very active 3rd down back, nothing is changing here, just the one we have is better. Perry proved himself last year, Rudi's carries never went down. No reason to think baring injury they will this year.

To reiterate...even in a dynasty sense...I don't agree with some.

Yes, Caddilac seems to have the ability to break a long one...but how often can you count on that? I would also argue with some, that no, you can't assume that since he was injured as a rookie, it will happen again...however, it was what the injury was..and his lack of ability to suck it up and perform anyways. Give me a rb I KNOW I can count on for 1200+ yds and double digit Tds anyday. Rudi has played with a bad knee...bad ribs an still supported and at times carried the team. As for age...remember, his first few years in the league he didn't sniff the field. So he only has about 2.5 seasons of wear and tear.

I agree with consistancy over possibilities of big games. The perfect example i got ridiculed for last year was having Big ben as my starting quarterback. All I heard was he wasnt a fantasy QB. The guy was money in the bank, week in week out. I knew he would never have a "big game" (ok he had one at the end of the season last year). but i knew what I could expect from him for points each week. That is what Rudi johnson is,regardless of what Perry takes away from him. If Perry didnt drop so many balls I would be more concerned about him.

Come on folks, the fantasy football world needs your opinions. We want to hear from everybody regarding this matchup, and the rest of the matchups we will be putting out here throughout the Summer.

Participation is what makes things like this fun and informative. We can all learn from what everyone out here has to say.

I used Perry last year to my advantage a few times. I think he has alot of potential and could even start for a team if given a chance. Just my thoughts.

Perry is to RB, what Greg Lewis is to WR. They can make plays and they get thier share of action but the end all is that, its a coin toss weither or not they drop the ball. I agree Perry has some good upside but hes never going threaten Rudi's job with his performance, or in my opinion the amount of action Rudi will see.

Cadillac came out strong as a rookie-got hurt, but recovered and still produced-that speaks to me
i like my boy rudi too though-he just don't have many breakout games, but he is one of the most consistent backs in the league-no doubt, a good 80 to 90 yard per game rusher and at least a TD...not to mention those sweet threads!(more halloween orange uni's!!!)

It is a real tough call between the two of them. If you read most of the responses it boils down to not who is the best player but what is your drafting style. Do you like the most consistant guy with your first pick or do you like big game potential.

Hey, Thanks for weighing in with your vote and opinion, youn_gun 270 !

Caddi needs to put up a year or two of solid production without injuries before I'm willing to risk a fantasy draft pick on him. Rudi has already done that and has proven himself, so that's all I need.
