Donate | Maybe this high ADP is the result of some people thinking that McNabb is going to come back at his 2002 form. The one unknown with the Eagles is what type of role we can expect from Gaffney. If we are looking at a much improved Reggie Brown, and if Gaffney is the wide receiver I think he is still capable of being, we could very well be looking at 20 touchdowns between the two.
Just too many unknowns though with the Eagles at this point. And however true or untrue this may be, I am still hearing rumors that this offense will be modified in 2006. A little more dedication to an inside running game may very well open up the field for McNabb this year. |

You have Lamar Gordon and Ryan Moats(Hurt) with Brian Westbrook comming off of injury and still not back to form of 2 years ago. Reno Mahe and Josh Perry showed minimal flashes. I wonder if M. Bennet might(?)be a good fit here since he is surplus in N.O. As much touting on J. Gaffney as there has been he has yet to show that he can be a top 20 reciever. Maybe DonoMc can make Jabbar a top tier WR if they can get thier timing down otherwise the only thing DOWN will be DonoMc on his back. |

He is no lock to be successful though, that is basically just my opinion.
The talk of dedicating more to the run is nothing more that rumor as well at this point. Gonna be hard to make Andy Reid adjust his offense at all given that he is a stubborn, egotistical, know-it-all coach that thinks his offense is perfect, when he has been nothing but proven wrong time and time again. |

#19 | | Water Boy | I'm obviously in the minority here....but I'll take McNabb. To me Tom Brady is a better "real life" QB than fantasy player. Not to say he's not valuable...but I see McNabb having more "upside" due to the fact I think he's really out to prove that there is life after TO. Mcnabb is a competitor and don't discount the fact that Andy Reid only has like 3 running plays in that entire playbook (at least it seems that way). The EAgles are gonna throw, throw, and throw some more. At the end of the day I think they are gonna end up with similar stats.....but I like McNabb only cause of the upside and due to the fact that since he's coming off an injury and no longer has TO....will probably be downgraded on most people's lists and I'm guessing can be had a round or 2 after Brady.
Also...I think the Patriots are gonna run the ball ALOT more this year. They've got 2 solid running backs and we all know rookie wideouts tend to struggle their first year....which to me means Chad Jackson's immediate impact will be somewhat limited. Minus out David Givens and I don't think the wideout position is the strength of this team this year.
Shout out to Miller Time for letting me know about this site....look forward to adding what I can to the community. Good to see some ex-FFtoday'ers in here.

All a team has to do is find his favorite WR, put double coverage on him and sic the FS on him as well, isolate the rest, and rely on its front seven to stuff any runs. He's not going to have much positive value in that kind of situation and if he tries to force passing plays there is always the possibility of negetive value because of interceptions. |
