Donate | So a close call can't be so close that it ends up tied?
Two years ago we saw a Jackson with too few carries and a 5 ypc and screamed that this man needed more carries. Last year he got 120 more carries and his ypc went down to a more normal rb like 4.1 ypc. So we have seen his potential and while I expect some more upside I don't think it will be as dramatic as some expect. jackson will get more carries in better situations this year but so will Jordon in what I expect to be a much better performing Raider O. |

They have a tough defense and their offense is just looking for someone to find the ingition switch. I don't think you can miss with either Jordan or Jackson. I sense some great chemistry on Oaklands O this year and I think the will be the surprise of the conference. |

Donate | Steve Corkran, writing for the Sporting News, reports Oakland Raiders RB LaMont Jordan (turf toe) is back at full strength after last season's turf toe injury. He is primed for an even better season than 2005, when he rushed for 1,025 yards and caught 70 passes. New head coach Art Shell has retooled an offensive line that struggled with its consistency last season, and he is a firm believer in featuring a lead back in his game plan. Shell has also made it a point of fingering a play or plays that Jordan feels most comfortable with as something that will be a staple of the game plan each week. |
