Colts WR Mavin Harrison/Too Pooped To Pop?

Marvin Harrison was given Fridays practice off but wasn't listed on the injury report with an injury per se. Not being injured he should play this week but this is unusual. This has lead to some interesting speculation, here's some of it.

there are whispers circulating about Harrison's ability to play at a high level after his one-catch performance in Week 2. SI's Paul Zimmerman, NBC's Chris Collinsworth, and ESPN's Merrill Hoge all came out this week and questioned whether Harrison can still run. The explosiveness and cutting Harrison showed in training camp wasn't there last week.

Im expecting over 100 yards and 2tds. Marvin hates when people talk about him and he has always gone out and proved them wrong before. If he has a bad week this week then I will buy into this.

I don't buy into it yet either. But then I figured it was better to mention it and let everyone develop there own take on it. Marvin should be out there this week and you should be playing him unless you have WR talent out the wazoo. Like you I won't get excited unless he turns in another really sub par performance.

While I don't buy into the fact that he is done, I wouldn't go expecting 100 yds and 2 TD's all of a sudden either. With the development of Gonzelez, Harrison could quickly find himself as the 3rd most talented WR in Indy at this point in his career.

Im just saying like always, Marvin has a huge ego and he likes going out and making statements. Also with the relationship he has with Peyton, He will definately get the ball today.

Im just expecting old Marvin today. NOT THE AGE

I never knew Marvin had an ego to feed. At least it never came across to me.

You are kidding right? He is one of the most self absorbed players in the NFL.

Anyone who owns a gun called the "Elephant Killer" has an ego. Marvin has an ego.
