3 weeks until the start of the season. Derek Anderson not only played like crap last night, but the start of the 2nd quarter was the end of Anderson's night as Osi puts Anderson through the turf, resulting in a concussion for Derek Anderson.

So, good chance the 3rd preseason game, the one where you generally get the best look at the starters, might be started by Brady Quinn. A good showing by Quinn could open up the door for some early QB controversy.

IN other Browns news from the game, Jamal Lewis looked like pure crap.
Credit to the Giants defense for much of this, but Jamal Lewis has to play much better than this or the Browns are in big trouble.

Lewis did stink it up last night. But the Giants defense was all over the Browns O-Line all game. Not a good game all around for the Browns.

I think Anderson was a 1 year waiver wire wonder. He helped all those who jumped on the bandwagon early last year but I think this year he is going to kill a lot of people.

I hope he is a flop, not because I have something against the Browns or Andersen, but because one of the top teams in my league has him.

He was selected 2nd overall and his team just gets stronger and stronger every year. I hate it!!!

I also hope Adrian Peterson (Vikes) stinks up the joint too! Didn't I read somewhere else on this forum that he's a hit away from being in a wheelchair! LOL

Brady Quinn looked like garbage too. He threw 1 TD that was more of a miracle bobble catch than a crisp TD pass.

That one miracle bobble catch won a superbowl last year. AND IM STILL BITTER haha

I wouldn't say garbage. The TD could have easily been a INT, and it wasn't a great pass, but more than anything, it was a defender making a good play on the ball and getting better position than the receiver, then just not being able to finish the deal.

Outside of that, I think Brady Quinn looked prett good.

In regards to Derek Anderson, a mild concussion was confirmed. I am interested to see what his playing status will be for game 3.
