| Fantasy Football Fan | Obviously it's still premature, but the Eagles are expecting Donovan to be back in time for the preseason. By all accounts his rehab is going as well or better than expected. Hopefully this doesn't limit his mobility coming back - there is a difference between being able to play and being able to perform at 100%. DMac's mobility was a huge part of his game last year and I hope he doesn't lose that. |

| Psychopath | OK, what about from a fantasy standpoint? In a 3 player keeper league that I've been in for several years now, I kept him as one of my 3. Should I just cross my fingers and hope that he is fit enough to lead my team to glory or look for another decent QB during the draft. I understand that there is still quite sometime, but hell, questions like these are the original reason why I signed up for this site. |

Obviously the loss of Stallworth and the torn ACL recovery are factors that would make you think twice about McNabb. So is the fact that the Eagles offense seems to have discovered the run. But with the addition of Kevin Curtis, I see the Eagles having plenty of good targets at WR. McNabb has shown year after year that while it helps to be mobile he can be very effective as a pocket passer as well. Even in the worst case scenario that McNabb doesn't get his legs back he can still be a prolific passer. I guess it depends on who the available QBs are - but my impulse would be to hang onto him unless you have to drop. There aren't a whole lot of better QBs out there. | |

| Burned out Premium Member | I will say this as a caution to McNabb owners. He was having an incredible year...up until he got hurt. Again though, McNabb is at his best when he can move around and improvise. If that knee isn't fully healthy(and it take at least a full year to be healthy...) then his game won't be as good. I hope they follow the plan they used with Garcia...and rely more on the run, and less on the Qb...it actually opened somethings up better for the Qb. Still...if you are in a 3 player keeper....you might want to decide if you risk that much for a maybe player you can get equal value for later in the draft. |
