Man, Dungy is almost getting as bad as Favre....

Will he....won't he....seems to be a yearly question with Dungy anymore, and as always, just as Indy gets ready to attack the playoffs, questions surround their head coach. Myself, I don't mind him weighing his options after the season, but don't talk about it! Just tired of hearing about the same time every season.

Sometimes it's a no win situation. When the media puts the microphones in front of his face, that question is coming, just like with Favre. If they avoid the question, they get blasted, if they talk about it, they get blasted. If they lie (see Nick Saban) they get blasted

well then, I'm just making sure he doesn't win in this situation

I'd much rather he say we'll talk about those types of subjects after the season, for now I'm concentrating on the San Diego Chargers.....

I'm pretty sure Dungy and the Colts have his successor hand picked so really this is a non issue.

I feel like this as well Chris. It really doesn't matter to anyone in the IND organization right now because they have his successor and their future already set. No matter what Dungy decides, they'll be ok, and I'm sure they're not worried.

it makes me sick that this is the way dungy could have to walk away from the game.

Jim Caldwell is Dungy's successor. They announced it earlier in the season.

looks like Dungy can start his offseason ritual.

Anyone think he'll come back?

I actually think he will come back. I mean I couldn't say for certain, obviously. But something tells me that he's not done just yet.

If he leaves, how would this effect Manning's hair?

See, I'm not worried about Indy at all. I think that they have already prepared for Dungy's exit, if he chooses to now. They'll be fine, including Manning and the gang.
