The Baltimore Ravens lost a major player today with the official retirement of Jonathon Ogden, but also lost another player in Steve McNair earlier this year.
McNair is probably the toughest
QB in the modern era. I never thought McNair would retire. I expected to see his corpse come off the bench for the Ravens in 60 years and throw 3 TDs. The guy was just a beast.
Perhaps his best years were spent as the face of the Tennessee Titans, leading them to within an eyelash of a Super Bowl Championship.
However, looking at the body of work, with no Super Bowl championship and average stats, he may fall just short of the hall.
What do you think? Im voting yes, because combining the body of work, what he did for the teams he was on, and the other worldly toughness of this guy, I rate him as one of the best of all time at his position, regardless of the lack of passing records, titles, or personal accolades.
