I'd take Garcia because he has a set of balls, and isnt injury prone. He does just fine as a qb, and is above average. A ball club is centered around a qb in the offseason. You dont want that focus to change every season.

I agree its not even close. Tom Brady is idolized and widely considered the best QB in the NFL both by casual fans, fans in his city, national media, local media. I never hear anybody say anything bad about him.

The worst thing I ever hear anyone say about Brady is that Manning/Brees/Whoever may be the #1 QB and he is #2. Hardly the most disrespected.

I can agree that the Patriots overall get overlooked consistently, and that is wrong. But Tom Brady gets more credit than Bill Belichick, which I'm not even sure is right.

well... it boils down to this junior.. you get paid the big bucks because you are an amazing athlete. Not because you are a pussy and get hurt season after season. you dont see palmer, manning, or brees going down every season do you? no, and they are to be relied on for this reason.

You guys are cracking my ass up! Sorry, I am not gonna let McNabb's bad luck convince me that anyone would rather have Jeff Garcia... no way in hell.

Donovan McNabb played a great game on a broken foot, throws up before throwing a TD pass in the Super Bowl, rehabs like a crazy person, plays through all kinds of injuries and sacrifices his body for the play when he has to.

I don't think I'd call him a "pussy" because he has a torn ACL. Last I checked, Frank Gore didn't play with a torn ACL and neither did your boy Palmer. Oh and one other thing - playing a full season is a separate criteria. T.O. hasn't played a lot of "full seasons" - a lot of players in the NFL don't. You're going to miss a game here or there, and a lot of it has to do with luck - not balls.

So you u justify his 2 season career

Like I said... in no way would I ever... EVER say Garcia is better.

I just prefer health and a sure thing, over disappointment and a chance at something great.

Only because I hadn't posted yet.

I think it all boils down to the Chunky soup mom curse.....

First it was Warner, now McNabb. Hasselbeck's next.

Garcia is a sure thing?

Ok explain why he is a back up and not starting for a NFL team?

Garcia is a journeyman quarterback. What about in Detroit and Cleveland noone liked him then. And an ACL cant be put off as being a pussy. He played through a sports hernia last season. led the eagles to 4 straight NFC championships and a super bowl. Just because Garcia found 2 teams out of 4 that give him success in the NFC where anyone can win doesn't make him the next Dan Marino.

You guys are milking this one season he decided to play through an injury.

What about the others?

And look who is doing just fine in the playoffs as qb and has been getting the job done for the eagles while mcnabb is down.
