Saints blew their opportunity now. Benson in for the score.

No chance for the Saints to come back on this defense.

Bears play like the 2000 Ravens...stop the run,force TO's and give the offense a short field....

Not as good as the Ravens were, mind you....

SuperBowl should be interesting....can the Bears stop Manning or Brady and can the Bears run on the Colts or Patriots

Thomas got benched way to late, Colston struggled badly early in the game, and the Bears defense simply did an outstanding job once again.

Didn't think this defense would once again be able to step up, especially against the Saints offense.

I think the Bears best chance is against the Colts. A defense like this can get into Peyton Manning's head, and they should be able to contain Addai and Rhodes fairly well, as long as their own offense can do a little.

Against the Patriots, I think Belichick will quickly get into Grossman's head, and the Patriots offense won't make the mental mistakes that we are seeing from the Saints offense today.

If the Bears can run the ball and not depend on Grossman to win they will roll in the SuperBowl

bear down

Bear down, Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory;
Bear down, Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T-formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown.
You're the pride and joy of Illinois, Chicago Bears, Bear down!

Well, I think the Bears playing their style of game, set their tempo, and did a magnificent job creating turnovers. The Saints didn't not bring their "A-Game," they just got overmatched by a defensive unit that matched up well against them and played to their full potential, and the Saints couldn't hang with them. All that said, I think the Saints have a good, young team and if they resign most of their key free-agents and replace Fred Thomas, they have a good chance on playing in this game again next year.

But, for now, congratulations to the Bears. I will be passionately rooting against you in the Super Bowl.
