If the Patriots played like they did today, the Colts will represent the AFC

I think the Chargers were a much better team than the Colts will be. 5 field goals won't win it against the Patriots.
Should be a good game.

i already hate the next three weeks ahead. i hate the build up for this whole week until this game, and i hate the two weeks build up between that one and the supe bowl. either the "pats are a dynasty" talk all over again or else the manningmanningmanning crap.

games were entertaining this weekend but man the results sure werent. unless the saints somehow win it all, its going to be a depressing end to the season for me.

Colts win this one with Manning get his head out of his ass, and the defense just as solid as it has been these past couple of week

I dont know how you can say that when you've got Chicago and Indianapolis still left.

If either of those two teams, or the Saints win - I think you can call it a good year for football. Those franchises all deserve a win for their fans.

Indy has been a different team all season when playing at home. The Pats are always a different team in the postseason. NE is a big giant Gorilla on the back of Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy. This has all the making of a classic and I and pumped to see it again! Is this the year? Could it really be the year? Hell yes it's the year! This is finally the year Indy gets past Brady and the Pats! The D is playing well and Manning will snap out of it at home and lead this team to the Super Bowl.

Manning has looked awful...granted it's hard to look good vs. the Ravens...but does their defense impress you shutting down the likes of Trent Green and Steve McNair? Both QB's played terribly...I don't expect the same from Brady.

It's not like Brady played lights out all game. He has had his share of bad moments and decisions lately. Let's hope for good weather and maybe we can get a nice shootout going.

Brady didn't exactly look great this past weekend either. If it wasn't for Troy Brown bailing him out of his 3rd INT the game would have been over b/c of Brady!

No

I'm not rooting for the Pats, not at all. But you'd be out of your mind to favor the Colts - they are big underdogs.

Were the Pats favored in the spread last week? No. They never are. I won money and vcash betting on them last week and I'll probably do the same this week.

Its about the only way I have to deal with how depressing it is.

That wasn't the question. You claimed that you would have to be out of your mind to favor the Colts - they are big underdogs. that is simply not the case. They ARE the favorites. You may like the Pats to win, and you won't be alone. many will agree with you. but due to this game being played In Indy, The Colts are and should be the favorites. There is not reason they should not win the game. But they now have to do it one the field, something they have been unable to do so far.

dont expect the same from brady?
did you watch him against the chargers?
should have had 3 interceptions, and if it wouldnt have been for his teammate saving his ass, he would have had 3 and the game would have been over.

neither qb has been most impressive.

so give me something else to go on, as to why the colts wont win, because they have proven the last two weeks they deserve it after manning hasnt done shit for them and they won the games.

Brady actually did have 3 INT's. That last one goes as an INT, then a fumble by the Chargers recovered by the Pats.

Wow, the Colts are favored in a spread? Public sentiment says the Colts beat the Patriots?

I am sticking to my guns. Expecting the Colts to win is idiotic. It is to be sucked into the same spread talk and media hoopla that happens every single year. The Patriots are never "supposed" to win any playoff game they play. So we as fans are suckered into believing that the league is actually filled with parity and that the playoffs are exciting.

The playoffs are not that exciting, there isn't much parity, and the only way to keep fans in every city interested is to pretend like none of this exists. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me a hundred times, shame on me.
